Hey @BadOx awesome fixture you got there! From what i learned this first LED grow i'd say you can get pretty close with this setup. Due to my mistake of vegging them too long, some plants where only 8 inches from the COB and they showed some drying out of leaves, but that's it... i'd say 15...

No, since i have no real life experience with rosin, i wanted a press with a manometer, and enough power to go both ways, and yeah, price difference is not that much indeed.

For the plates i decided to go for a cilinder shape A little bit smaller than a CD, 110mm (or 4.3inch) diameter, thickness 50mm (or 2 inch) for about 30 euro's delivered to my doorstep!

From what i've read so far, the more pressure, the less heat. So with 12 tons, i think i should work in the lower heat range, and with this setup i can go either way. If you know what you're doing with B.H.O. and use gas without contaminations the risk is minimal, and a felony? caamooon ;-)...

Well, i ordered some stuff for the rosin press: And found this 12 ton badboy close-by in a shop for 200 euro (220 dollar) The plan is to make two 12x8cm (or 5x3") top/bottom aluminium plates with each 2 heat probes. set the heat to 115c (or 240f) and then flatten the bastards! :bigjoint:

I'm thinking about using a tabletop workshoppress like this And then making 2 aluminium blocks for pressing with heating elements on them. Today received my Dr.Dabber Aura pen vaporizer, loaded it with some BHO and i must say that it's awesome! This little pen produces some nice good...
