I use the pollenex 150 tumbler. Process whole plants. Basically dry real well break up material and toss in freezer, then into my tumbler. You could make one yourself. IMO hand carding volume sucks. (I like to start with dry sift before ethonol extraction. )

I recycle soil with lots of fruit. Composting with fruit rocks.. Worms and microbes love it, makes for a fast recharge. Got no clue about vitamin C, just know fruits got it and I like my soil..
