How to prune/defoliate/leaf pick on the outside row

I used to give them a b1 spray before/after I pruned em, but I don't do that any more as the stress is beneficial. My recipe is pretty basic I don't use a whole lot of additives. Basic 3 part with a few bloom boosters. 1250 ppm veg week 1 through 9 for flower 1100 1150 1200 1250 1300 1350...

How to prune/defoliate/leaf pick on the outside row

How to prune? Some people call it a leaf pick, or defoliation. I prune when I kick them into flower, again at about 3 weeks and again at 5-6 weeks. Here is a quick series of pics showing how to prune a plant that is just kicked. First step is to identify where the back of the plant is so you...

Yes bare vert is the way to go with those. its about 1850 at the 1000 setting (1060 actual watts) and 2100 at the 1150 setting (1220 actual) with a bare bulb, the reflector eats up about 13%.

    Carson High Yield LED's

easiest way to grade a grow light is to look at the total PPF sometimes called umol, and how much PPF/watt. This will tell you how much total light the fixture emits as well as how efficient it is. For reference, a basic hortilux single end HPS puts off about 1300 ppf when its brand new, with a...

New BC Blondes GCI 680 (2.6/1740+ppf)

Here are some unboxing photos and a couple shots of the rig in action. I have multiple levels(tiers/bleachers/stadium) on my tables so I positioned the panels as close as they can go. If you have a flat canopy it would be best to mount the panels a little further apart, easily done with the...

New BC Blondes GCI 680 (2.6/1740+ppf)

The 680 is composed of 2 340 watt panels. They are attached together with connecting bars that have multiple holes to slide the panels in and out so you can have more adjustability for coverage, they also can tilt so the panel that is at the end of your row can be tilted slightly to the center...

Every time i make a post you make a negative reply. I don't know what your issue is. All ive ever done is tried to provide a bad ass light with crazy efficiency and massive ppf for a reasonable price. Im a medical patient myself and I cant stand seeing other patients getting ripped off...

As much as possible lol. Although I do find that I get weird stunting/stretching if I try to blast them too early.

How much is too much light?

ill go as high as 1500-1600 but will only adjust to that level for the last couple weeks of flower, and you gotta watch it cause levels that high can degrade your resin. This is with c02

What LED is the best value in terms of cost/yield/service life?

Not at the moment, I just recently made it free shipping though, so other than some tax for Canadians, the price you see is the price you pay. There isn't a better deal when looking at umol/$ with prebuilt fixtures. $1329 Canadian or about $999 USD. Not bad for 1636 ppf and 2.52 ppf/watt.

What LED is the best value in terms of cost/yield/service life?

If you want a quick way to see how good a light is, look to see what their ppf/watt and total ppf is. If they don't publish this data, find another brand that does.
