If he's growing in tubs right now, he's obviously looking for a stealth grow. Setting up a tent may not be feasible. Those tubs aren't the cheap ones, and he bought two and chopped them up. I don't think the cost of a tent is the issue here.

Yeah, I'm NO expert, but it looks like you still have a lot of white pistils. You're likely 4-5 weeks from chopping I think. It's really easy to chop too early, and really hard to chop too late. Give it more time. You've come this far, and you'll regret chopping it too early.

Well done! How much height do you have inside the stack of tubs? Flipping to flower is going to make that plant stretch like hell. Imagine it will stay the same width, but 2X or 3X in height in the 2 weeks following your flipping to 12/12. Well met thus far. Can't wait to see how it all ends up!

There's no set "number of days" on any strain ever. You chop typically when the tricombs are milky and 10-20% amber. You'll need a loupe or digital microscope to see them up close to be sure. From the looks of that pic, you're about 4-5 weeks away. Better pics would help.

I'm only using 1/2 of my 4X8 right now. No separator or anything. I have a light on the other side, but it's not turned on right now. It will be later this week when I move a few new plants in there. You just won't get the benefit of reflective light off the open side, but you should be fine.
