    Question on drying

So wouldn't buds be brown if the chlorophyll got broken down by curing?

    Question on drying

I'm curious about the chlorophyll thing. Isn't that what makes plant's tissue green? The stuff I learned in school said so, but that was a while ago. Maybe that's been disproven. Every time I hear that curing breaks down chlorophyll I hear my dad's voice saying "By what mechanism?". He's a...

    Question on drying

People have been hanging plants by the stem for centuries. So tradition plus ease of hanging. Are the people talking about "all the good stuff" also trying to remove nutrients from the plant by flushing?

    Seedlings Stretching?

I have a t5 less than an inch from my seedling, but she's working on her first 5 finger leaves. when she was the size of yours she was about 1 to 1 1/2 inches away. IIRC t5s are more powerful than t8s, so as long as they're not showing any signs of light stress, I would get them as close as I can.

    Yields from pollinated plants

So, my neighbour's son, who used to deal, came around the other day. I overheard papa saying "I didn't know. I didn't know!" Next time I looked his plant was gone. And as a plus, it was raining that day, so no cloud of pollen from the plant coming down. Next time I see his son after harvest he...

    Max # of bud sites...

I'm kinda in a similar situation, except I'm straight in the ground. 7 foot 6, maybe a hundred budsites. Only mine is seeded. Way I see it the max number of budsites is determined by how many the root system can support. Some people think that removing lower budsites makes the tops bigger, but...

1st day of spring. Questions how to start indoors?

If you start them under 12/12 for a month they'll definitely flower when you get them outdoors. What is the day length for the time you're going to put them out? Start them under that. For example, I started the plants I put outdoors under 15/9, because that's about the length of the days at the...

    Harvest soon, late flush

I hang branches usually, and I take off the fan leaves as I remove the branch from the plant. If I'm making edibles I don't bother trimming the sugar leaves, but for smoke I dry trim them.

Can i leave the plant alone?

Well yes. They do grow wild in places that have a harsher climate than Greece. You'd just have to keep up with the watering during dry times. There might be pests or plant diseases in Europe that we don't have here. Anywhere you can grow a hot pepper plant, you can grow weed. I would ask someone...

    Wtf is this?

Looks almost like a whole lot of growth tips crowded together. I would say give it a few days to either grow some pistils or for those to turn into recognizable pollen sacs.o_O

Can i leave the plant alone?

Unless you can do light dep, planting in the spring of 2020 will give you bud early Autumn. @jdog127 is right. If you want bud in the summer an indoor grow is your best bet. My point was that at any latitude in Europe the day length is dropping, and any plant placed outdoors before Spring will...

    Yields from pollinated plants

I have seriously considered it, but first I would have to put some money in Monsanto's pockets. I really want to imagine his face when he takes a big old haul of burning pollen in his lugs.

    Yields from pollinated plants

I've grown indoors for a while, but with legalization here it just makes a lot of sense to have a plant or two outside, especially in a neighbourhood like this one. I don't need to worry about stealth because anyone who can see my plant has at least one of their own. Quality control and multiple...

    Yields from pollinated plants

Yeah, around here the rippers are starting to target legal grow ops. Not the big guys yet, but eventually someone will get greedy. Funny thing is almost everyone around here grows. Now it's in the open. Last year around late September the whole neighbourhood started to smell, it was awesome.

    Yields from pollinated plants

He thinks he'll get bud from it. He didn't believe me when I told him he wouldn't. I want him to harvest, dry, and smoke it. He deserves it. I can't move my current plant in, obviously, but yeah, I'm growing indoors until numnuts figures it out. The two houses on the other side of me both grow...

    Can anybody id?

I'm guessing you're outdoors to get leafhoppers. You said you sprayed neem, was the plant in the sun when you did?
