    LEMON GARLIC OG - OUTDOOR

Pull open the smallest of the affected buds first. Always confirm what guys on the internet (like me) are telling you.

    Need help!

You're in Ontario like me, right? It's actually the province which is restricting insecticides. If you're going on a trip near a provincial border a quick hop into Quebec or Manitoba and you'll probably find something on store shelves. What are you trying to prevent/treat with spinosad? I've...

    Did I FIM or TOP?!

You topped, and the two side branches from the node below kept growing. If you had fimmed her, the spot at the top where you clipped her would have 2 to iirc 6 growth tips. If you manage the stems right you will have 4 tops, I did that with a plant this year. You could even top all 4 and you'll...

    LEMON GARLIC OG - OUTDOOR

I don't know what effects bud rot might have on a human, but if you're determined you're going to want to cut away affected portions of the bud, and I would suggest a peroxide wash at harvest. Jorge Cervantes has a how-to video on YouTube. Decarbing it for use in edibles would also kill fungi...

    Seed harvest and bud rot?

If you leave the seeds too long won't they be knocked out of the buds by the wind? This is my first outdoor grow, and it got seeded. I know my neighbour's male did it, so I decided to keep the seeds. I'm watching, waiting for them to mature, so that I can grab them as soon as they turn brown. I...

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

Jorge Cervantes has a how-to video on YouTube. Pretty much exactly as @jbcCT described it.

Aren't there spinosad products available up here? I found a reference to "Success Insecticide", having spinosad as the active ingredient. There was also something about a re-evaluation of it. Here's the Health Canada page...

    Starting to worry

Here you go. Full plant pic isn't new, but she isn't too much bigger now. About 7'6" or so.

    Starting to worry

You should check out the frost thread in the outdoor growing section, it should put your mind at ease about light frosts. They definitely don't stop flower production when pollinated. My neighbour had a male sativa flowering 3 meters from my Bakerstreet. It was in full pollen production before...

Hermied week 5, make hash or cure it?

Had a light fall on one of my sativa dom plants once. Broke the main stem right off. She was 5 or 6 weeks into flower, can't remember. Trichomes were 100% clear. There was THC, but the high was weird, hit hard quick then faded fast. If you have to harvest early you might as well dry and cure it...

5 weeks in flowering, first time with RO water

Can anyone point me to some research about exactly how synthetic nutrients are supposed to kill beneficial microbes?

5 weeks in flowering, first time with RO water

Those cabinets are great. If you're worried about staying organic, you might want to look up eggshell tea. Adds calcium and a few other micros. You can also mix the used eggshells into your soil, the slight acidity will leach the calcium out over time. Just out of curiosity what was wrong with...

I found my lost seedling ha ha

...so below. I agree, no sense wasting a perfectly good seedling.

White powdery mold starting on my outdoor leaves

+1 Potassium Bicarbonate. I used it, got it on amazon.ca, got rid of my powdery mildew. You can get Green Cure on amazon.com. A guy just north of me got it and recommends it. It works the same way as baking soda, but is supposed to be more effective.

    LEMON GARLIC OG - OUTDOOR

Sorry man, but it really does look like bud rot.

    Humidity during flowering

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there plenty of air movement near the coast? I've only visited the ocean coast a couple of times, but there was always at least a breeze. Something similar happens on the shores of Lake Ontario (really a freshwater sea). Has to do with difference of air temp...

    What is this?

Lol, Awesome. I'm always planting seeds to see if they grow, especially if I don't know what they are. It's fun to find out. Found a seed once and it turned out to be tobacco, nicotiana rustica. My brother dropped it when he was over. Now he has a bunch of plants. I never kill a plant unless I...

    What is happening?

I agree with Bernie, lack of light. The plants look good, the parts in the light are doing fine. Your medium may be a bit moist, since it looks like you may have fungus gnats, but in the pics it looks alright, and at this stage of flower if your plants aren't complaining I wouldn't go changing...

    What is this?

Ahh, a pot. Yeah take it out. Up to you if you want to put it in a pot of it's own till you figure out what it is. That's the kind of thing I do.

    Help plants look burnt

Maybe it's just the lights you're using, but those plants look wicked pale. Can you post a pic in sunlight? Or are your plants as yellow as the pics show? Looks indica dominant, so orange pistils at week five wouldn't be unheard of.
