I started with a LED no where near the quality but nearly the same average draw from the wall in my 4x4 tent. As long as I keep the light 30-36" above the canopy I haven't had any issues. They've been under it since they were 2 weeks old.

Being with you on the first grow, I have definitely started to look at cloning. Simply for the perpetual grow. But i have 0 supplies and a single tent. Looking into picking up a small tent, small light, and some form of a cloning kit

The light that I picked up was also right around 200. Just over. I'm happy with it but have no true comparison.

Very nice. I did look into cmh and will likely add 1 down the line. On a normal occasion I kill any plant I touch. So before I went and put too much into it I decided to make sure that I could ACTUALLY accomplish a grow.

Very nice! Yours are bushy like mine are. After talking with a grower friend of mine i will definitely just keep them all and see what happens. I bought 1 of the famed cheapo chinese led lights (get what you can afford unfortunately) Seems to be going well enough. I dont expect any super sized...

My original intention was to only do 4. I was just blessed by the ganja gods with a few more. In the end, like everyone I'd guess, its all about yield. Would 4 "properly" spaced plants out yield 7 closely grown plants?

16?!? Damn. That's really pushing it edge to edge. Does that mean that I could keep all 7? With the leaves overlapping and such will that diminsh yield?

So now I have some relatively short, bushy plants. Tomorrow I'm transplanting them into 5 gallon air pots. Plan to flip them in 2-3 weeks. The initial hope was to have at least 4 females to flower with. I wound up with 7. I only have a 4x4 tent. I know they should ideally have 1 square foot...

I haven't pruned a thing. Just topped once. They are fairly bushy but i suppose if they wind up male/herm then it doesnt matter much. Bare minimum it was worth the experience.

Ive looked into all of that and have been able to sex other peoples plants with not much of an issue. I have just seen very few plants that grow "leaf like" new growth where the preflowers should be. I assumed they were all balls but as they grew further they are becoming leaves.

What exactly about that pic makes it appear herm? Still learning and appreciate any info provided.

Plants are 45 days from seed and it seems like i should be able to sex them by now. However, preflowers are coming in looking almost like new growth. They start off looking almost like balls (pic 1) and slowly progress to look like new growth (pic 3). Thoughts?

All seeds produced would have the potential to also herm.
