    CXB3590 350mA Build

Got the rest of them up now, just need to fit the fans and make sure of temps. I think this is the way these LEDs will be best used tbh, stacked to make the most of a small space (that's if temps are reasonable, I might have to upgrade my extraction to an 8") Peace bongsmilie

    CXB3590 350mA Build

Thing is, if a wire does come loose i'll be able to tell because the sting will go out. If there is a string out i'll unplug the lights to find the bad connection. I double checked my soldering anyway to make sure it was secure and that I wouldn't have this very thing happen. I got the same...

    CXB3590 350mA Build

I was thinking of possibly doing this but cutting a hole with a circle saw through the plasterboard to access the cold air from the wall cavity. Pop a pc fan over it to bring in cool air. I was advised by an electrician on another forum that there was no point, here is a quote from his post...

    CXB3590 350mA Build

I don't have a thermocouple or a temp gun so I can't give the actual °C but it's a little hotter than I thought it would be, too hot to hold for a prolonged period. I didn't have any extraction or circulation fans on though so it might drop a touch when everything is up and running. I'll see if...

    CXB3590 350mA Build

Been planning this for a while now, I've had all the part for a few weeks but my free time has been a little limited to get it underway. Only have half done so far, the other half will be made when I get around to finishing my grow space. Parts: 24 x CXB3590CB (72V) 4 x HLG120H-C350B 6 x 110cm...

Haha, i'm really excited about getting them all up and running. Going to be loving the efficiency boost with these. Realstyles, I honestly struggle to understand how you think... The way those two posts came across was 'Look at me, i have more than you, i'm going to piss on your bonfire'. If...

I too have been in touch with BAL group and requested a quote for 8 x 1 meter lengths of the 1343HS. It came to £231.46 including VAT, it didn't include shipping prices though. Still a good deal!

    DiY LED - Cree CXA3070

I used a stencil for my TIM on my current build. For the stencil I used a thin piece of acetate... Although tape would probably be a bit better

I changed the currency on their website, i didn't do the conversion myself... So yeh i'm paying $80.41 when converted but that's including VAT, import tax and free delivery and like i said, from a reputable seller who i know will give me a refund if i want it without having to chase them around...

It works out to nearly the same, digikey pays for import tax and free shipping as well as being a reputable seller too. They also have them for sale at $59.50

I bought them from digikey, overall price with VAT came in at just under £1250. I'll have a look around here in the UK for a drill press, i know a few people who might own one, I'll ask around instead of buying one.
