Odor control for leaky basement grow?

Thanks for the help. When you say it would be used as an outtake, do you mean I would blow out the air somewhere through the mylar with tubing coming from my light? For some reason I was under the impression that the grow room should be sealed for it to work effectively. Maybe I'm wrong.

    The ph monster.....

Can't you let the water sit for a few days so the chlorine goes away? If not, I would check to see how much chlorine is in your water. Chlorine is usually high in water where sewage overflows are a problem. It's used to treat the water.

Odor control for leaky basement grow?

Hey there. I'm growing 40 autoflowers under 1,400 watts of HPS. Problem is, the plants are not in a sealed environment, so the smell drifts down my street. I've become very paranoid. I have mylar hanging from the basement ceiling to keep the light in. Unfortunately there is plenty of ways for...

    any one grwon lowryder 2?

Yield is typically 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce. I've grown them before. Ideally you wouldn't want to start off with HPS because they aren't flowering at the beginning. But if that's all you got, I don't think you'll lose much of a yield at all. I'm growing auto-flowering Great White Sharks and they...

    My 1st grow . Autoflowering

My problem with transplanting them in a 2 gallon bucket immediately is the strong nutes found in some soil such as FF. I usually start with no-nute Pro Mix and after signs of sex, I plant the babies in a mix of Pro Mix, worm castings, Fox Farms and perlite. Aren't some soils just too strong in...

    strain with best outcome?

Big Bud is considered "a commercial grower's delight." It has consistently high yields, and you can find Big Bud crossed with other strains to keep the yield high.

does moving from 12/12 to 14/10 really help?

I tried do exactly that and two of my plants turned into hermies. Luckily I caught them fast enough. I'd be very careful.

    Growing autoflowers under 1,000 HPS?

Hi everyone. I'm growing 25 autos under a 1,000 HPS. The lamp is 4 feet from the plants, which are in various stages of growth. Some are three weeks old, some are just sprouting. My question is, is my 1,000 HPS too much light for the autos? I don't want to burn them, but I have no problem...

    staggard harvesting!++rep

I always harvest the tops first and let the bottom buds grow longer. You'll probably notice that the lower buds are more immature and need more time. The best practice is to check the trichomes on each bud before cutting. If they are still clear or cloudy, feel free to leave them on after...

    seeking help on damaged foliage

I think your problem is insufficient light. That plant is too big for natural light, imo.

    White widow breeder question

I just read a magazine (maybe Skunk) and there is a big article about the origins of White Widow and who has the best strains. I wish I could remember where it was, but it was an interesting read.

Please assist me on my first grow! (Northern Lights)

I would be a little concerned about the odor and shop around for better odor controls. I'm also growing in the basement and the smell is trailing outside. Granted, you are growing fewer than I am, but odor would be my concern if you are having people look at the house. I would constantly be...

    I can't track my order!

Yea, I've never heard of anyone having problems. Sometimes it takes close to two weeks. Depends on the demand. Just relax and it will appear. :bigjoint:

    flushing

Yep. You just want about two weeks to pass between nutrients and harvesting. It's probably a good idea to harvest the buds while the soil is relatively dry to reduce the drying time. Otherwise, if you are sure your plants are ready, just water, harvest, cure and enjoy.

    Flowering plants burning? With photos

Whatever happened to my plants is now over. They have recovered quite nicely. PH has been normal, and I'm finding that my biggest problems are the close proximity to the 1,000 light. The leaves burn very easily. Anyway, here are some pics.

    Flowering plants burning? With photos

Went to the grow shop and got some new stuff. The PH tester indicated 5.6 to 5.8 from the runoff. I added a calcium-magnesium mix in hopes of getting some nutes to the tops that are yellowing and browning. I added nothing else. The guy at the grow shop pointed out that I was probably growing...

    Flowering plants burning? With photos

Thanks a lot for your help. This is my first indoor grow as a legal caregiver, and everything was looking great. But you're right: I don't think the problem is limited to leaf burn. I had some evidence before of nute burn but it would quickly go away after a nute-free watering. Because my...

    Flowering plants burning? With photos

HI everyone. I have 16 plants under a 1,000 HPS at 12 and 12 in soil. The plants are five weeks into flowering and were looking great until I went on a trip for two days and forgot to keep the fan on. The four closest plants to the light were very yellow and then turn crispy and brown. Only the...
