    Jimson weed

I am growing it as a decorative and partly curious if it can be used to teach vermin to not snack in my garden. Has anyone grown jimson weed? I do not plan on experimenting with its psychoactive properties. I'll stick with my cannabis. But just out of curiosity, is there anyone out there who...

    Failed timer in flower

I had a light timer get switched over to "ON" from "TIMER" and the plant was under full light for the 12 hours it should have been dark. I think it slowed down a little for a few days; instead of the usual 48 hours it took to suck up a gallon of water and nutes, it took 72. I think I negligibly...

    how hot is too hot

I got lucky and discovered that my stealth closet was right next to an unused chimney. I simply removed one of the bricks, and installed a ventillation duct. My stealth grows constantly have moving air and my temps rarely get above 85. It's awesome.

    CFL Growers

if you're in the US, go to Home Depot or Lowes - go to the lighting section, and you'll find a "300w equivalent" CFL. they only have these in 2700k, but they are great for flowering. 68w, they are my best friend.

    How much water?

I've done that. I've overfertilized. I finally got to the point where I learned to not do that, and what happened? Nitrogen deficiency. BUT, my mistakes are now too little instead of too much. I've delayed on watering, and my plants get a little droopy and sad looking.

Grow fridge to the full potential

This could be a very interesting project. Just be careful! It's too easy to rupture a freon line, which renders your fridge into no longer a fridge.

Grow fridge to the full potential

That is why I personally, would consider this way to much work. You'll still need to do a lot of drilling and running wires. You will need out-ventillation, which means cutting into a refrigerator and not rupturing something in the area you're cutting through. And the compressor may not be built...

Ferts-to-Flush: When should one discontinue nutes during flowering?

all i want is a plant that has no chemical nutes when i harvest. a 5% increased harvest with buds that will taste like ferts isn't worth it to me. although molasses isn't fertilizer, will it prevent severe nutrient deficiencies in the last two weeks of flowering?

Grow fridge to the full potential

Because if you run a fridge in addition to lighting/etc., it will run ALL the time. Which will send your power bill through the roof. ADEQUATE VENTILATION is much more important than boosting CO2 - if you have a sealed fridge with plants inside, they will get no air circulation and they will...

    Flushing my plants

You should flush your plants as part of your watering schedule. Based on my experience, one flush once every three weeks - use 3x the volume of your growing container. Discard the runoff, although you can do things like check the pH of it to evaluate the soil conditions. "Signs" you need to...
