Help! I'm a total noob and I forgot to water my babies yesterday - checked them tonight and they're wilted and looking not too happy. Soil grow - fluorescant + cfl - 25C temp I've gave them a good soak, do you think they'll recover? :wall:

Hi everyone, Thought it might be about time to intoduce myself! I've lurker around here for quite a while now and added wee bits of info now and again but I'm a self-confessed noob! I've got a grow on just now (Shiva Shanti) after a great wee visit to Amsterdam and coming back with some seeds...

It depends on your insulation and where your grow is mate. If you've got an external building or loft glowing away in the dead of night you may as well have a big sign on your door! :eyesmoke:

I'm trying to set up a CFL grow - anyone know where I can get a Y-splitter here in the UK? I've tried the usual places but with no joy :(

Cheers mate! I've got a full built-in cupboard set aside just for growing! Can't wait to get things started for real - I had a trial run with some hemp (from wild bird seed) without any problem - and I'm hoping to get some good smoke when she's ready. I've got 7 seedlings on the go just now...

Just started my first grow with CFL's after a very mellow trip over to Amsterdam. I literally stumbled into Sensi Seeds and got myself a pack of Shiva Shanti as it seems like a newby friendly strain. Any of you got any tips on what to look out for or any additional info on the strain itself...

Personally, I couldn't give a flying fcuk where the info came from - I'm just glad the man shared the knowledge and I've managed to find it. + rep & definite plan for next grow!!

Quick piece of advice mate - have a read over the 101 already asked questions thread and use the search facility. You're guaranteed to piss some people off if you don't show at least a little effort! Toke on!

I'd give them some light for them to aim for. Once they pop through they can then start workin on photosynthesis!

No shit! I like a good smoke and was a bit of a fiend up to about 2 years ago and then the hash going around just wasn't up to the job. Then I saw this and thought, oh aye! I put about 12 seeds into dome damp cotton wool, left it about 3 days, 6 sprouted and lasted 3 weeks until I burnt...
