Raise the back of the ballast from any surface, that should cool it by 5-10 degrees.

I vent mine just outside the closet doors, if it gets warm I open the bed room window or open the closet doors more. Alternately if it's cold I close the doors more, those doors don't seal very well so they get enough air even with them mostly closed. But if the attic is doable that's the route...

I think it depends on how they turned hermaphrodite. If they turned with very little stress, then there's a really good chance most will be hermaphrodite. If they were majorly stressed into turning, they should be ok, they may have a slightly higher chance of turning.

Mine's like a jet engine with out the speed adjuster. With it, it's no loader then a house fan.

X3 and get a fan speed adjuster, they are fairly cheap and it will reduce the noise drastically.

I'm of the opinion you'll get some fem seeds, but being that it was so easily stressed you're more likely to get more hermaphrodites. It's why when they do take fem seeds they look for generally the most stable genetics as to reduce the number of hermaphrodites. Now if you're plants were...

Here's one being tied down at around 3 weeks. The thicker stems make it more difficult to tie down. However, the tops are still malable enough to bend.

If you get a carbon filter and in line fan get a fan speed adjuster as well, it will cut the jet engine sound down to a very low hum.

My mistake, I forgot to add, If they are opening put a garbage bag over the plant then pull it out carefully. You can lightly mist down the grow with plain water to kill any stray pollen.
