You have a really nice meter. That was a good choice to buy. I would only add that temp. is a factor if your nutrient solution goes above 75F. or below 60F. Good Luck on your Grow.
The Effect of Temperature on Conductivity Measurement
@Blent- You're right man. I meant to say pistils... I'm pretty baked, sorry about that. My Bad. Honestly I have to say she is one Wicked looking Plant. Sorta sad she can't be frozen in time, and put on display. I apologize for speaking incorrectly.
I agree light burn at the top of the Plant, but that's the least of your problems. It looks like you have to much Nitrogen, the leaves are too green and a possible Magnesium deficiency, the leaf veins are necrotic. Your trichromes are decapitated. That white trichrome bundle at the top looks...
There could be many possible reason why your leafs stems are Red, and your leaf margins are clawing, not to mention the waxy looking new growth. As 2Hearts said it could be stress. What kind of stress could be a few things. As Lime73 said "The more info the better. What does the description of...
It has@2-3 days of energy stored in the cotyledons (starch).
As soon as you have the RAM root apical meristem, it should start feeding from the root.
The Plants plants always feeding. What ever it doesn't need gets stored as simple sugars or starch. The roots will grow all the time, they have no...
Can't use Lady Bugs with HID lights that are not in cool tubes.
I tried it once, It was a Lady Bug Genocide. They all flew into the HID, and popped like pop corn.
They weren't all that cheap either. LoL Now I only grow once a year outside. No bug issues :)
This should help you.
Here is a good post on Peat Moss, and mixing it up with different things.
https://www.rollitup.org/t/how-much-dolomite-lime-with-peat-moss.373389/
IMO- I add 1-2 Tablespoons of Dolomite Lime to every gallon of peat moss/Pro-Mix
I don;t mind running at pH 7.0
You could get...
I don't really measure the amount. I use Prob. like a tablespoon per gallon of water for cleaning.
I use the 3% H2O2, seems to do the trick. You can get the Higher % stuff it's up to you.
I've got a big sink. I put a couple of gallons of water in the sink, and start washing.
Drain that out, and...
Your pro-mix isn't really soil. it's a peat-moss based product.
Just remember you always need to add lime to that stuff because of the low pH it has.
IMO- running at pH 7.0 is just as good as pH 6.8
Good Luck on Your Grow
You might have gotten the Fungus Gnats from the soil.
The Maggots in your soil will eat organic material, including your root system.
I agree a good soil drench should do the trick.
In the future I would use a preventative measure.
Encapsulating the soil in Perlite is my Favorite method.
Like...
IMO- combination of stress, and plant instability.
Remember Cannabis is an Angiosperm. it has both male, and female plant parts naturally.
All she wants to do is make seeds.
Good Luck on Your Grow
use a H2O2 solution. wash it up in the sink, rinse it out good.
IMO- I don't use bleach, bleach leaves a residue.
Dish Soap is a big no no too.
Good Luck on Your Grow.
pH 5.3, So your growing in CoCo Coir.
You made sure to rinse your growing medium really good before you used it?
Your pretty much growing hydro, the growing medium is inert, just a place for the roots to grow.
If your going to continue using CoCo I would invest in a RO/DI system.
If you...
Nutrients- I would only foliar those to my plant up to a month in flower. After that I wouldn't use Foliar nutrients in flower.
Supplements- like snow storm (trichrome booster) you can foliar that stuff up to a week before harvest I believe.
The bottle said. There are other supplements like...
