Well if youre using tap or spring water, there should be enough micro and macro nutes to get them established in the growing medium. I think the NPK of root tonic is 0-10-10 so it would be better to hold off for now. For seedlings I use Foxfarms Big bloom (NPK .01-.3-.2) at 1/4th strength. I...
Wouldnt recommend using any nutes or tonic yet. Use just water for 2 weeks (or until they have a good 4 leaf sets). Then start at 1/8 strength every other watering and work your way up. Water them every 2-3 days or if theyre close to being dry on the bottom. Theyre deffinatly over ferted which...
Ehh. Its pretty much the same concept. I also agree that the soil looks a bit compacted. Adding perlite for aeration and drainage would be a good idea.
Could be genetic. Are you able to test PH? If youre using a seed starting soilless mix it may be a little to acidic because seed starting mixes are mostly peatmoss which tends to have a ph of around 4.5. When in doubt check PH first
Looking very nice man. The leaves look like theyre cupping up a tad. Could be a little too warm or have too much direct air flow. Its not bad at all though. Quite impressive for a first grow. Keep it up!
Or you could tell her its a japanese maple sapling haha. Japanese maple have 7 finger leaves that are pretty much identical to cannabis. Theyre usually red though...
Haha. Guess ive proven a point. Coniferous plants and cannabis have a vaguely similar pattern of growth so one might not see that there are 2 different plants in one if there were cannabis growing atop that bush.
Put the pots on the crotch of a tree. Or put them on top of a conifer type tree or shrub (example above) so when they grow bushy it looks like part of the tree from a distance. Try to camo the pots as well.
No preflowers yet. Theyre still really young. The little pointy things on the main stem at the base of each node are called stipules. Theyre pretty much a non essential part of the plant. Preflowers usually appear right next to those stipules.
If the plant seems healthy I think youre good. You may want to pot up. This is pretty much the same as what smart pots do. They allow the roots to grow outside the pot. The exposed roots will then dry up and "air prune" themselves which stimulates lateral root growth so this may be beneficial...
As long as its still producing white ones you should be fine. Its only 4 weeks in flower. Still should have another 4 to go MINIMUM. Old pistols begin to dry up after a week or so if they arent pollinated by a male and make way for new ones to develop. All is well! :)
I know of 2. Use a solution of pure CASTILE SOAP and water. not sure what the dilution ration is. Try google? Or you can use a tobacco tea. Wouldnt recommend using the tobacco tea on plants of the nightshade family such as tomatoes. Tobacco is also a nightshade and can potentially give your...
