Inspirational. Just started my first Hempy grow w/ 3:1 coco/perlite and OC+.... seems easy enough!

Cool, I got the same freebie and it's just popped out of the rockwool. It'll be interesting to compare. What are you growing with? I'm using cfl's in a 3:1 coco/perlite hempy, nutes: OC+.

If anyone's running coco hempies with OC+ I'd love to hear/see some success stories to boost my spirits. Cheers

So after much study I have decided to go with KISS and rock some 4 gal hempy buckets with 3:1 coco/perlite and hydroton rez. Nutes will be Osmocote plus, supplements will be cal-mag (seems its a good move with coco) and some hydroguard for good measure just to be sure none of that root rot shit...

Maybe the difference in growth is because the Fox Farm soil already has nutes that will feed for the first few weeks where as the coco/perlite is inert. It looks like the coco/perlite one has the onset of a deficiency too, the yellow lines... my guess Mag. Foliar spray with Cal/Mag or epsom...
