recurring yellowing sounds like your on your nitrogen threshold. try and water less more often, the top half of your soil takes the water and nutrients first, i would figure if your pots are taking a while to dry out your top half of soil is gonna be really dry by the time you water next. if...

i dont know why they try to root above soil jensen... lol, could be moisture near/on the lower stem as you suggested, not only that but that is its main root area so i would expect it to find the most viable place to root. constant moisture, constant oxygen and near darkness would cause roots...

what soil have you used and what nutrients are you using. if they've turned like that without nutes then previous posts are correct with nitrogen an cal mag statements, when you fed nitrogen what was the p/k ratio, did you double up thinking it would fix the nitrogen because too much p/k in...

and if your using hid i'm sure you decrease the life of your ballast and bulb, i'm pretty sure the ballasts are designed top be on or off a certain amount of time before you can turn them on or off again. cfls life would be dramatically reduced. even led's, i don't know about diodes but i do...

lady bugs are awesome predators, just be prepared for yellow spots everywhere. cant remember what it is, there their secretions of some sort. they also like to bunch up in little colony's so you gotta go in and swish em around a bit..... slave drivin stylee

I get that on my bottom fan leaves, could never diagnose it. i use a 5ltr sprayer to water with.

I flush every other time to save water, unless its a number 2.... that shit gets flushed straight away!
