if growing in good soil you shouldnt need to adjust the ph of your water,unless the water you use is really shitty. ph adjusters over time will cause the real problems.

ive done side by side tests,and i usually will get around 1/2 oz more yeild from 4 plants in total.the other 4 will have impressive main colas tho.

ive found that topping does increase yeild.and some strains recover within a few days after being topped.also when you top you can open up the the plant to allow light to get right inside. its all about how and when you top really.

4x4 5x5 is a little to big for a 600 watter.and i answered this question for you earlier.i have a 600 watter myself in a 4x4 so i know that anything bigger will have some plants not getting the light they should be getting.5x5 is for 1000 watts and above.
