My run off is still low so it did not help with that but it did help my plants. But I'm also not growing all organic I use some chemical nutes so you should probably listen to chuck on this one.
What I was told when I did my flush for the same reason is 3 times the size of the pot like if you have a 3 gallon pot run 9 gallons of ph'd water through them
It's been going on for a while though so I don't think it is it started at around week five so two weeks ago and theirs no roots peaking out of my drainage holes
She just won't take any nutrients I just gave her some stump tea from htg supply maybee that will help it has Mycorrhizae and kelp so we will see maybee it will just take a week to bounce back I just flushed a couple of days ago
Yeah they throw nutes in everything even their seed starting mix and organic soil have extended release fertilizer and the nursery near me likes to charge outrageous prices for everything they have so I stay away from them lol
I did each layer of soil I added I put a tablespoon in then mixed and repeated the process untill it was full. How long does it usually take to work? I pretty much powdered most of it. Probably about a week or two right
Thing looks awfull. Red poison 7 week update. I'm almost positive that purple on the leaves is a phosphorous deficiency deffinatley not genetics lol I hate this soil I must've gotten a bad batch
Yeah I use the fox farm trio. I'm about to start another plant and I checked the soil of the new pot before I plant my seed and it's the same thing as this one so I'm going to fix it before I plant. I don't think this red poison will make it to week ten honestly it's week seven tomorrow and it...
I'll have to order some of the amendments from Amazon and I don't know where to get red wiggler worms but I'll defiinatley start looking into it and get it started. Thanks for all of your help on this
I tried it with a flush on the grow I have going now because I though it was a lockout due to to much nutrients and buildup so I flushed and checked the ph at the end and it did not change at all. And throughout the whole grow my water was 6.5 ph so if it worked like that I wouldn't have had the...
Maybee I got a bad batch then because I only feed them one teaspoon per gallon of water and I never have problems untill they hit flowering it like it takes a while to affect them but no matter how light I feed it still happens so I know it's the soil and I always ph my nutes before they go into...
No I tried that with a flush I put nine gallons of 7.0 phd water through a 3 gallon pot and it didn't change it at all believe me I tried everything and on top of that everytime I water I ph my water to atleat 6.5
Eventually I want to do all organic but the main reason I switched from fox farm to general organics was because I thought the fox farm nutrients were causing salt build up but it was the soil ph causing the lockouts. I think I will always have to use bottle fertilizers due to their being not...
I only do one or two at a time I have a small 22x36 inch tent so I can fit two but I like doing one so its directly under the light and not in the shade corners. The whole time I was thinking I was over fertilizing and causing build up when it's been this soil so I switched from fox farm...
I went to lowes and the pellets were the only ones they had I should be able to just crush them up a little right? Also you said oyster shell flour would oyster shell work the same way if crushed down? They sell oyster shell at animal feed stores. I have a bunch of fox farm in a Rubbermaid tote...
