Water from your ethanol is what's making the milk due to the oil mix. I let mine evap, there's oil suspended in that water. Never evaporated on ptfe... just pyrex or stainless.

A minisplit requires a proper outside disconnect. I highly recommend the minisplit. Look for auto restart after outage and low ambient functions.
