I have a bucket of chicken, cow, and sea compost that's mixed in even portions that I use as part of my blend. It's very mild if I want more N I can add Sea Bird Guano or whatever with higher N.

    What's a 3 pound plant look like??

Yes strain is very important, that's why I'm unsure about this HGK I've never grown one I have two both look to be the same pheno. I know they will finish late, probably 2nd week in October.

    Tree Trunks

That's very interesting, I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and say it's actually related to the root hardening thing. I have personally seen noticeable swelling in the base of the stalks after some heavy rains. Rain water is 100% soft and plants suck it up faster then any ground water...

    Tree Trunks

Well let me start by saying that they are pretty awsome, not that it's hurting you that bad, but if your trying to squeeze every little thing out of them, then yes. It's better to have them covered. That's my own opinion derived through my own experience. Other people may have a different opinion.

Greensand is a rich glauconite, which is high in iron, potassium and magnesium. I'm not sue if you can achieve the same results using that due to solubility, and the form of potassium is different. I'm not a chemist so I could be wrong.

Well a couple things, one potassium sillcate is the only thing proven to increase THC levels, and most importantly makes the cell wall structure of the plants thicker making them more resisted to bugs, mold, and disease. It doesn't take much 1/4 Tsp per gallon for both foliar spray and watering...

Yup, I don't have a problem with my home strain, I have had a little here and there last year on some new breeds that we were trying out. I'm always trying something new to add to the collection. I've grown many things from many different breeders over the years.
