Opinion on a tds meter? I have a ph meter and an ro source of water. But don't completly understand tds from soil or water

Very much appreciated. I ended up getting purple cow inicanja for the soil and 4-8-4 rose and flower mix for the top dressing and I also picked up some stuff called fish shit. I think its a soil conditioner. I'm really excited to get the tent in soon then I want to start a grow journal on here...
