    For those who always say, your lights are to close.

    I keep my vero 18 C build (700mA) around 4-5 inches away because I always run out of space. Sometimes they touch become charred, but that's only if it touches. I can easily see how even bigger cobs would be fine at 12" as long as there's no optics.

    I count veg days as soon as the seed is germinated... and I germinate with light.

    It is accumulating purple photons from the light source so it looks like a deficiency. Those are really trapped photons that are glowing their original colors.

    If you're growing hydro, use potassium hydroxide, otherwise your soil should have enough lime to neutralize acids.

    This is why I won't recommend it for hydro either. I see it as steering noobs in the wrong direction by over-complicating something that's already hard to grasp for noobs.     sulfur feeds the trichs. (yet the trichs are low in sulfur) I've seen no evidence of this.
