    Reparations for Weed Dealers?

Reparations doesn't mean handouts. If you were a tad more thoughtful, you'd research how reparations programs would play out, and it wouldn't be a massive handout to anyone, but instead provide programs for training and education to the most vulnerable in society. But I know that you disagree...

Jeff Secessions's hard-on for weed continues; DARE Revival

I knew they weren't done. Pot is such an easy target from lazy klansmen like Jeff Secessions. Instead of doing real investigations, they're going after something that's very visible--medical and rec pot shops--and they'll violate the holy states' rights ideology they've been pushing since the 1850s.

Are we entering the Post-Cognitive Age?

That was my experience in higher education before I got out. Coming from the administration, universities all over the country are dumbing down the curriculum in the interest of retaining tuition-paying students. That's one reason why I left higher ed.

Are we entering the Post-Cognitive Age?

If you were a thinking person who understands the English language, then you could read my posts and figure it out.

Hello, God? This is Donald Trump.

Hello God, this is King Donald I. I was reading "two Corinthians" the other day, and I gotta question. How come in your novel, the Holy Bible, you don't ever say best or greatest or very truly and tremendous. The best Gods use superlatives as just about every word in a sentence, because it's the...

Jeff Secessions's hard-on for weed continues; DARE Revival

I would guess that old DARE speaker is around 52 now, or dead. After all, he said if he'd never wrecked his Honda, he wouldn't have gotten into recovery, and he would probably die if he weren't twelve stepping it. So he's either in his 50s and way too old for MD coeds, or he's dead.

Are we entering the Post-Cognitive Age?

How is it pompous and how is it grandstanding?

    Attention, Republicunts:

"Collusion is not illegal..." "It's okay to collude to defeat your opponent...any candidate would do it...." "Yeah, we colluded and it was great. Now what are you going to do about it?"

'Generation Z' Are Nothing Like Millennials, Professor Warns Liberals

Those two kids go to the best school money can buy, and I think it contributes to their lack of compassion. They're certainly in a bubble--only in school and associate with only other upper middle class white people.

    Reparations for Weed Dealers?

Alright, I know this will be a lightning rod as I write it, but let's get reparations for African Americans before we do it for weed dealers who knowingly broke the law when it was illegal.

Jeff Secessions's hard-on for weed continues; DARE Revival

Back in the 90s, I heard DARE cops showed up at kindergartens and first grade classes, brought bongs with them, and asked students "Whose parents use these items at home?" Several kids raised their hands, and names and numbers were then taken.

Jeff Secessions's hard-on for weed continues; DARE Revival

Holy shit, that was the same guy we had at our school in 1986! I remember the "smoke a joint every hour on the hour" line like it was yesterday!

Are we entering the Post-Cognitive Age?

Curious about your instructor's responses to the hi skool kids' poor writing skills? Did he/she try to help, or did they not really care? I hear from my pals in higher ed that they can't teach students the shit they're supposed to know by the time they get to college, so they don't even try. In...

Are we entering the Post-Cognitive Age?

TTy, this speculation I'm making involves policy, technology, education, and economics. On that latter aspect, what jobs will be the ones that most people have in the next 15 to 30 years? Service industry jobs--which are becoming more and more automated. And as more and more automation hits...

Las Vegas is dry - state of emergency? LOL!

That distinction goes to Shreveport, Louisiana! No legal weed, and if they catch you with the bud, expect several years of hard labor in a private prison. No economic activity there except gaming, in which the poor offer their tribute payments to monolithic gaming corporations.

Are we entering the Post-Cognitive Age?

I cannot come up with any kind of feasible method to test thinking and its depletion among Americans. I can only follow impressionistic data, and surely this has happened to you. You pay for cash for something, and maybe you even give the clerk a bill and some change so you'll get even dollar...

Knuckle draggers think college is bad.

On one level, you are blaming higher education as a whole for problems associated more properly to the failures of American capitalism and the economy. Higher ed didn't cause the shitty economy. On another level, you equate higher education with employment services. Universities are not...

Are we entering the Post-Cognitive Age?

It started already, probably with 24-hour cable television. Tech advances mean that we're gradually transitioning into an age when thinking is obsolete.

Are we entering the Post-Cognitive Age?

I don't make enough money to save and it's pointless anyway. I don't want to retire. I'll work until age 70 and then blow my brains out.
