Hey Fancy Green. Without a picture I can't tell you much but I can give some pointers to see whats causing the problem. Are these plants inside or out? What medium are you using? What are you feeding your plants and how often? How often do you water?

This definitely looks like a drainage issue. Also what medium did you use? Kinda looks like you mixed some potting mix, perlite and coco peat? Make sure the soil is just right, if its spongy than the roots suffer and your plants just won't grow right. Don't have much experience with auto flowers...

What type of soil mix did you use? Sometimes store bought potting mix can have hatchings of sorts of bugs and infections. Try sticking to sterilised mediums, a clean enviroment makes for a clean plant.
