2 days into flowering i just spotted some thrips ! what is your best way to get rid of them

Get yourself a chilli spray or something organic when spraying close to harvest. Then again you can try lacewings? They're a bit slow to get established but once they do they tackle thrips really well.

    Foam in dwc buckets

Could be from the coco mix up top. I know you are probably really clean about it, but that can cause some unwanted reactions in your water. I usually use clay pellets, you rinse them a few times and line the rockwool with it so it stops the algae growth up top,

    Foam in dwc buckets

If you have the money to invest in the equipment, a water chiller consistently keeps temperatures minimal as water recirculates around the system. Foam is either from soap or an organic compound found in the reservoir.

Opinions? Is this powdery mildew or something else?

I think that's mildew. If you have some low strength hydrogen peroxide on a cotton tip, should do the trick. Here is some more info: https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/white-powdery-mildew

I didn't spend 8 years of learning and perfecting things just to rush the end. If you have enough supply, it's just a rotation. Besides it's just putting in a glass jar, takes about a few minutes to do.
