Mine is 20-25ppm, very low. I add calmag until the water reads between 125-150 ppm, every watering. Then add your nutes.. This is the problem. I don’t mean to sound full of my self, but it’s not a common problem. Most people have high ppm tap water.

I asked because I was having the same problem with my plants, and it turned out to be low ppm tap water. I have to add calmag every watering now. Test your tap water ppm,(before nutes). If your tap water ppm is high, you may be limited to the nutes you’re able to add.

It does look like p def, but if you’ve already added it, it may not be. What’s the ppm of your water? Are you using r/o water, tap, well?

Genebanker is asking what water source you are using, be it r/o, tap, well, distilled, etc. If you were using r/o water, CalMag, (calcium-magnesium supplement), would need to be added to make up for the total dissolved solids that aren’t present in the r/o water.

Purple is probably from temp swing and slow uptake in phosphorus. My temps usually have to dip a bit more. What nutes are you using?

Will Epsom dissolve in cold water? I don’t need the ppm’s coming off my hot water tank.

So adding cal/mag will only make a mg def worse. Is that what you’re saying?

It looks like p def. It could be from locking out, like you mentioned. If you feel it’s not, you could also check out fungus gnat damage.
