I usually try out a couple of different test plants most runs... trying to find a real good keeper.
I have 3 of these Mimosas in the room.. all from the same mother... and I can’t tell you how impressed I am with them..they are caked in frost... turning purple.. which is a bonus in my book...
winding this grow down...probably chopping next weekend....all is looking good...dense and frosty....i have dropped the night temps into the low 60's...starting to see some fall colors in the garden.
It’s the middle of croptober here in OK.. so the market is flooded with cheap outdoor. I’m getting 1500 a pound for fire indoor.... but that’s wholesale to the dispensaries..
thats not exactly all I said on the subject.....but hey i get it....your not a fan of par meters....each to his own...im sure you are one hell of grower. Good luck to you.
I personally find a good par meter to be an excellent piece of equipment to have in the tool box... Is it a vital piece of equipment .. no... But when you are dialing in your environment I like to know exactly where I'm at... But that's just me... I like all the data I can get when I grow.
I think you have to do your research and decide what light best fits your style, budget and grow room/closet/tent ect....over the years I have grown with lots of lights going back 20 plus years to my HPS days...and those HPS fixtures will still get it done today...I switched over to LED's almost...
hey brother...those ladies still need a few weeks if you can wait....if you need smoke you could harvest some lower buds.
your looking for most of the pistils to turn orange and the calyxes to swell...here is a bud shot of my Mimosa that is just about ready to harvest...hope this helps and good...
The more air flow you have the better...IMO...I have 7 fans in my room..3 wall mount...2 box fans and 2 pedestal fan...I want constant air flow at all levels ...I am not a fan of light movers...I ran them years ago...all tho they would move that hot spot around some....my advise would be to look...
just about got week 7 wrapped up...garden is trucking right along...my iPhone is pretty old and ive got the red spectrum cranked up on the lights..so my pics are not the best...they dont do these buds justice as to the amount of frost on them...roughly 2 more weeks and we will be chopping them...
I've tried topping... Leaf stripping and drastically lower room temps... Lower Rez temps...Power SI as a foliar also will help with stretch..But it's a bit pricey... They all will help a bit in slowing the stretch... But not drastically IMO
its not a basement...but we really went over board with the insulation when building...i also run my rooms pretty warm...around 85F.....i dont drop temps until the last 2 weeks....typically the dehumidifiers dont kick on until lights out and that helps some with the heat load....but for my...
This is a bud shot of some Mimosa that I am pheno hunting 70/sativa....30/indica....she is not going to be a big yielder...but the buds are rock hard... look incredible and smell like orange sherbet.
week 7 update everything is going well....got a nice fade going on in the garden.....everything is frosty and dense....looking like we will be taking these girls to week 9 and harvesting.
I am a fan of the Optic lights...but I got a great deal on the Geek Beast Pro fixtures...a friend of mine had 5 of them still in boxes unopened for a project that never got going. This being my 1st run with them ..I will wait and see how the quality and numbers look before i pass judgement...I...
