Is hydroponics better for the environment? I think it is.

The bold can be said about hydroponics. So many variables, water temp, ec, nute mix all have to be dialed in not to mention your roots are more susceptable to pathogens

Is hydroponics better for the environment? I think it is.

A personal grow with a simple compost pile from kitchen food scraps is no where near the footprint of a chemical production facility that manufacturers your NPK products. The truck drive to get them to your hydroponic store is more damaging to the environment than an entire organic grow. Not...

Is hydroponics better for the environment? I think it is.

True organics beats Hydro every time. Less Carbon footprint when using a homemade compost pile and rain water.

Is hydroponics better for the environment? I think it is.

I think you would have to take a deep look at where these chemical nutrients come from and then make another assessment. There are ways a non commercial grower can do organic grows that are 100% environment friendly, while Hydroponics will always have the carbon footprint of the chemical...

What is better 400w 8in from canopy or 600w 18 in

I was replying to the other guy about the spectrum of a 600 watt bulb. Its more complete than the 400watt and the 1000watt and thats why some prefer it when it comes to coverage. I'm glad your in flower your doing a good job. 600 is the way to go.

5 gallon bubbleponic box first time growing without soil

I'm going to give you some advice. Take it how you want . Put your plants in the flower cycle now. Right now! At that size with that small 5 gallon, they will be huge for the two months of flower. The roots will tangle so you wont be able to remove them. They will drink 5 gallons in a day maybe...

    cali connection blackwater...boo!

I already got your point many post back. My point is you can find a breeder with similar genetics who already stabilized there line, but its the luck of the draw. Just a plus for you that you breed anyway or you would have been SOL

hey man,I think you got the wrong idea. You dont have to prove anything to me or anyone else on the internet. All I question is your use of swerves gear when there are plenty of other breeders out there with much better reputations. If you believe his genetics are top notch then thats your...

Low Humidity 16%-22% DWC 1 plant in Vegg

Not all plants react like that with low RH. Drinking water and taking up nutes are dervived from a ton of variables. Water temps, and room temps, water ph, and ec, are more of a factor than RH.

    HELP...Humidity issues in DWC!

Your fine as long as air is not blowing directly on your plant it wont dry out. Sometimes low humidity is a good thing and wont hurt, the rest off your conditions sound ideal as well

**benificial bacteria tea 'V's' water chiller

No need, I assumed if someone were to do an organic grow they would create there own soup. Buying organic nutes, lol this is hialrious to me as the thought never crossed my mind. Guess people have to make a living. Also, organic hydro done properly would be healthier imo, as no chelated salts...
