Water should be 7.0 coming out of a clean RO system. Replace your meter, or RO filters if it doesn't stay .1 around 7 off RO. If you wanna know what your water actually is at, that is.

As far as the deficiency, looks like cal /mag deficiency or heat burn on the foliage. Do you use cal mag? Interesting that your doing 600w in 4x4. Is your canopy 3x3 or what?

That's how i do it... Put the ducting into the carbon filter a few inches past the flange, and tape heavily with foil tape to seal it up. Makes a permanent attachment for a bit of ducting, but I replace carbon filters after 2 runs anyway and only use a foot or so between the filter and the fan.

i also have the 4x4 version :) I could give you a materials list. It's pretty eassssy. Ran me about 80-90 total at home depot after everything.. Although you do need a table saw. Or some saw capable of making somewhat precise cuts.
