Sure does! I water during the 2 days of darkness before harvest. With a dry time of 14 days. The buds were sticky potent but harsh. This year FLAWLESS FINISH® for 7 days then chopped & hung. This may be harsh too. ☮️ Peace to you! Good luck.

Covering it will increase the potential of bud rot and some strains are more mold resistant than their counterparts. You can cut the mold out but you will have to be ready with clean scissors & check the plant top to bottom EVERYDAY. It is easy to miss if not careful. Otherwise, I would leave it...
