Need help with indoor grow

Being that you're new I would keep going. Anyone that's grown a while has had mites. Dont expect stellar yield or quality. Its a good leaning experience though.

starting over is effective but not necessary. good tip though

won't work bro. they'll spread and you'll lose all the plants.......mites like heat. all they do is multiply and eat. the stippling on your leaves is a tell tale sign. mites are extremely hard to get rid of entirely. there are two pesticides worth considering if you want. one gets rid of mites and one gets rid of eggs and mites. floromite and forbid are their brand names. while you're in veg you can spray but i wouldn''t spray in flower. if you only have one plant at this point i would start over. they have a short life cycle and once you rid your room of green plants they wont live long at all. my advice comes from field study and a sprayers license for pesticides in my state. good luck.

I've already got Neem oil, next up some strong pesticide. Will try alternate doses and lets see how it goes.

Yeah, I see your point. Personal choice. Frankly, they creep me the fuck out. When I get 'em, I get rid of them. They fuck up my relationship with my plants - something that gives me daily comfort.

But on a more practical note, how much does the OP has to learn on sick, infested plants? My opinion, start over. Nip it. Nip it in the bud. You wanna learn on some healthy plants.

lol, how would you know, have you tried it? have you had an infestation? i've seen it work, depending on the size of infestation, of course. lol, here's another "all seeing/knowing," nay sayer, passing judgement on folks trying to help someone. why don't you just tell him what remedy you suggest, without waving off others that are trying to help? there's more than one way to skin a cat....

oil works on nymphs so if u time it right it'll help. it doesnt work on adults though

He could learn a ton. Such as their life cycle, initial signs of mites, how bad of an infestation he has when he has webbing, which types of deterrents to use such as systemics or through foliar spray. Why completely throw that plant away when it is most likely he will get mites again is how I see it.

I am sure somebody can answer better, but, foliar application means spraying a topical treatment to your leaves. This does not penetrate into the plant and tends to 'wear off' quickly. So when you harvest and smoke it, you won't die. Systemic poisons are fed to the roots of your plant and work their way through the plant's entire system. So when a mite feeds, it gets poisoned. This permanently poisons all the plant tissue making it 'unfit for consumption'. That includes smoking.

Edit: dannyboy, can you scroll back a bit and read my clarification. I would like your opinion.
