Yeah it's getting pretty cold here in the Midwest. I have put a bowl and wet towel to boost it around 40. Too annoying and takes up space! I'm trying some leaf mulch now to keep plants above something moist. Been one day, and the leafs are maybe half dry already. Maybe a diff mulch or certain heater, humidifier, and fan combo I'm missing?
Agreed! I roll organic with some great pest prevention amendments, so I wish those effers would even try. I was thinking of even misting...another annoyance. It does stay a steady 40RH when I seal tent.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind if they were in bloom right now. This is my first time vegging this time of year, and I'm not used to anything under 50-60.

Im thinking its the fact that I have been venting directly back into the garage due to the fact I live up north and im going to be dealing with -40c/-40f outside the areas. I do run a propane heater when I visit the area, which is twice a day, but with out a natural gas furnace its too hard to control. Thinking once I get my two areas going ill be running the 12/12s at opposite times, this way I can have my 600w or my 400w running at the same time as my space heater (15amp breaker). I also suck the air from one space into the next, this should help with the heating issue. lucky so far its only hit -20c for a couple days (my garage dipped to 5C and grow closet dipped to a 14C) then went back to -5c. But come January ill be having some new issues im sure lol.
Living in a desert with a name like moldy is a contradiction. I've never seen mold (in my buds) but got my name working in a plastic "molding" company about 20 years ago. The boss called me moldy since I was training QA techs how to use the molding equipment at a plant start up. The plant closed about 10 years ago and I was able to transfer to a home office.With a name like moldy, no wonder you don't mind low humidity...JK
