1kw 1 plant monster kush scrog !!!

Thought I'd post a few pcs of a grow I'm doing. Just a single 1kw in dwc using gh 3 part. Looking pretty good so far! Flipped it over last night gonna start to get interesting stay tuned!! Screen is 5x4 chicken wire

U can see the box fan I have hanging off bungees to stop vibration. Also the can fan that's controlled by the duct stat there. I just have it blowing out the dryer vent hole as the grow is located way out in the county !

Wow thats pretty amazing how spread out you can get the canopy. Going to be a big finisher for sure.

So here we are on day ten of flowering. Looks like this strain might not stretch as much as I initially thought it would have. Just letting her come up now, nutes at 1000, ballast at 110%, bulb is hung about 24" up ! Enjoy !

Quick update : hheading away for a couple days an was dreading coming home to a dry bucket ! So I made up a quick rezzy with a 5 gallon pail a pair of vice grips an old bilge pump and some 1/2" vinyl tube. I know. It's pretty ghetto ! But it'll do in a pinch ! Just gravity fed basically. Any questions on that fire away. I'm running 1100 ppm now gonna make the switch from bloom transition when I get home on the nutes! This girl is starting to show ! Wooohooooo ! Enjoy

Day 13 or 14 of flowering here . Starting to show nicely looks like a med yeilding strain. Tad bit leafy but looking great. Starting to smell kushy.

Nice work matthash! Great to see these monster scrogs are starting to get more common :)

One thing i did notice that you were only using a 5 gal bucket, if you say you mothered this plant, i dare say that bucket is getting rather full of roots already! I myself use a 50 litre res and max it out using gravity top feed every 3 hours, the roots fill my bucket to the very bottom as i've noticed the plants make alot more roots during flowering where they will need more space, i wanted to mention this only because it may limit your end yield , and thats a beast! It will be a tricky feat thats for sure if you were to change it over, i know mine would be impossible to swap at this point because of the way i got it set up.

All in all, you will be able to finish her out no worries! Awesome spread :p looks like a big hairy bush in the centre of a playboy mag

Thanks a lot dude !! I appreciate the comments ( and just love talkin shop) I've raised some huge plants in five gallon buckets. Think k buckets dude ;) 3 lb plants in 5 gallon pales. Wahoooooo! And ill be checking in on your grow for sure man! Here to a solid kilo harvest ! :D

Just did a Rex change running 3-2-1 flora series with a scoop of dry monster bloom fr grotek, 20~ ml cal mag , 5ml h202. It's coming up at around 1300 ppm on my meter ! I have some dry kool bloom for closer to the end and some final flush for the last week or so !

lol :) no problem!

again.......... unbelievable spread! Geez i'd be scared the bucket would fall over!! LOL I've seen 50 litre tubs fall over :o But they were very uneven, and not grown by me!
A solid kilo :) That sounds awesome and possible given the size plant, i can't wait to see what she produces. A much different dwc/gravity feed/flood setup lol, and a good use of oxygen for sure.
Looks like you got the right ideas to me

She's locked into that screen like two hound dogs ! There'll be no tippin over for this surly girl ! Ill go into detail about the frame maybe tomorrow when I'm not so foggy !
