Clones sagging! ??

This is the first time I cut clones. I clipped them today and threw them under the lights. I did all the 45 degree angle, clonex, soaked rockwool cube, clean tools, sprayed with water. I was just wondering why they were hanging over like a candy cane or something? Is this normal? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Increased Humidity helps, mist the leaves with tap water. Looks like they have not ate since you clipped them. I once read that after you take clones they immediately start eating through the stomata, so spraying them once everyday is a must. If you clipped them today they should stand up in 24-48hrs, if they still look like that after, then you have a problem!

I know that slim but my dome wasn't tall enough and the domes at wal mart & home depot weren't either. No grow stores here. They need a dome, i understand but it doesn't have to have one, right?

I hate to say it but if you can't do it right? If you spray your cutting's then why would they initiate cell division and root growth. They are being foliar fed.You have to plan on which cutting's your going to take also and hammer them with light to keep them short and have multiple nodes. They make rubbermaid file holder's walmart sell's them and they are tall enough but I think these ladies are gonner's Man.Here's a good thread just showed it in another cloning thread.Last thing, Clonex goes bad in a short time.I use rootech and XXX and it keep's forever, every little trick get's you closer to 100% like I use a special soaking nute for my rapid rooter's, I make different small cutting's at the root sites too.Always 100%.Happy Cloning.

Home depot and Lowes both sell propagation trays and heat mats and domes. I have cloned without them but only had 50-60%just success rate after using them it's almost 100% every time if you are going to invest the time and money to be a grower than it only makes sense to spend $30 to do it properly instead of trying how to half ass it and hope for the best

Money isn't an option with me at all dude. I just didn't have access to the shit anywhere here. I had to order it online. I said that the ones @ home depot were not tall enough jackass. I asked for advice, if you don't have any and your point is to be a dick, why even open your fucking mouth. Be gone mother fucker.

I found one and ordered it from ebay. It was $34 with tax and shipping. It is extra tall with heat mat, dome etc... I had the same problem. I looked all over for a tall one. I live in the north east in a nonmed state so hydro shops aren't regularly available to me and homedepot or lowes didn't carry them in their stores in my state. It even comes with step by step instructions. I know it's a little late now but for next crow.

I wasn't trying to be a dick just saying to wait until you have the right shit to do it not jump into it and say what can I do to fix this. If you already ordered the stuff why not just wait till you get it then you won't have to start threads asking why your clones are drooping.

The clones that you cut are not the best candidates for cutting. Thats probably the reason why they are immediately wilting. The stems are thin, stretched youngish light starved growth. I'd guess that the stems are relatively soft and young. Get some better lighting on the plants your cutting from so that the internode is shorter and the stems thicker relative to the length.

I've got 1000W HPS on 2 plants. How much more light do I need. 4 of the 6 clones survived to replant. 2 of them I tossed. Once the box warmed up and I checked them the next morning, 5 of the 6 were perked up.

soaked rockwool cube
when you use rw cubes only have them 50% wet max or you will starve the clone of O2. I don't know why this happens (droop) , I get no droop at all, I don't mist or use domes and use jiffys, I have a clone box( an old 3 draw chest with a piece o cardboard for a door) 2 heat mats and an 18w cfl on 24/7 . When doing the stem 'cut' I just lightly scrape around the bottom inch of cutting, into the water then cloning powder , no angle cut.

You only need a fluoro setup, low watts, Horticulture bulbs. They cant handle HID Lighting til rooted.
