Go to the $$ store and get some large plastic containers with tight-fitting lids.
Use a dremmel or drill to put a few small holes in the lid--
cut all the weed off the stems into the container and snap-on the lid.
The air holes allow it to breathe- but keep it from molding if nit 100% dry! Make sure to jar-up as soon as you get home... you MAY have to rehydrate with a grape or piece of lettuce in each jar for an hour or so-- but then you just air em and keep curing!

Good idea... Only thing is u get once shot at curing. Once RH drops below 50 55 % curing is done and u are now drying. Sure u can put moisture back in but curing won't take place again. You should dry at 45-55% humidity at 65-75F for 10-14 days anyways (till the stem snaps) - so set up that environment and let it run w a fan circulating air around but not on the buds. Make the space dark and regulate co diatoms with a dehumidifier. That's your best bet for the best bud - normally you'd want to check the progress of the nug everyday but you'll be gone for four days. GL

No. not a chance. It will still get you high, but it will taste and smell crappy.
If the shut jar does not go much above 65% or so, you should probably be okay.
You need small hygrometers that fit in the jars.
I quick cured once before a vacation. I put it in the jars much drier than I though it should be. In a couple days I had it pretty close to 58%, which is my goal. When I came back most of the jars were between 58 and 63%.

Sorry- but I do disagree to a point... Curing is aging the buds after they are dry... adding back moisture carefully, evenly and in small amounts helps the curing process. Yes- once overly dry, they do not cure as well- but can still cured nicely, but it will take longer.
Curing breaks down any chlorophyll left in the buds after they drying process...
Curing can take from weeks to MONTHS, depending on the strain and how they were grown.. but yes-overly dried buds won't cure....just degrade.
