sweet! can i run a dwc with a pump and two airstones?

do i also need a pump to circulate the solution, or is that unnecessary?

how about taste/harshness in soil vs hydro?

Two air stones would be great, you dont need a pump to circulate that would be useless unless your doing RDWC, taste is better i think

yeah, i got 1 air stone 1 pump, 1 hose. 1 system. Not that I think it's bad to go with the RDWC, but I get nervous of the "if 1 goes. They all go" Start with 1 and when you have control. Go for a 2-bucket system. then 3, 4, 6, 16. grow a forest buzz.

If your growing a big on you might want to change your air stone half way through. There only like a couple bucks and they dont work so good after three months

are the plants faster to mature in hydro? what the difference in smoke between soil and hydro?

I head something about the Hydro Smoke is a bit harsh... People I know seems to like the smoke from soil better.

My DWC bud gets way more compliments from stoned people for smoothness, taste and potency than most soil growers get. It's not just the growing but the drying and curing as well. Been smoking since 1963 and can tell you most are blowing it out their ass when they claim they can tell the difference by smoking alone. Pure unadulterated bullshit there.

I'm no expert. But I've smoked thousands of strains starting with Mexican brick all the way to the original Kryptonite. I say 99% of experts who claim they can puff and tell are blowing out their ass.

I put some pics up and would like some opinion on those colourings. regardless of his grow history, bmeat was the only person to actually offer a guess about the issue? everyone else should atleast take from his lead and try to b helpful rather than bash him.

appreciate all this feedback, guys. ill try putting the water up closer, but for the most part, im in the north-east so i just do air exchange from outside, which right now is crisp and low humidity. i'll try to balance it up and keep y'all posted. plant looks healthy though. no sign of any inefficiencies. got the oaksterdam textbook so im trying to follow most of those guidelines. keep the posts coming, im always interested in reading new opinions!

Well when you say that your plants are looking healthy, what do you want us to say to you. As far as most of us are concerned, this thread is done until you have another question.....

She's good bmeat. got her tied down and receiving a cfl blast for this, the 3rd and final week and then switching to metal halide. Started sprouting some V. Kush. That will be my first "official grow journal" because i wouldn't want to fill up a forum with discussion. May offend some pirates. Pics soon.
