Its still illegal and where I live you can only get from one source-no compatition-been that way for 20 yrs.They supply about 6 small towns and villages in the bush.Every now and then someone does a one or two deal run and end up busted thats why I am doing what I am doing for myself and a very select small group of friends.At least thats the end goal.I am a terrible grower-my 1st grow-6 white widow,indoor,got dried and cured 2 ounces.I know what I did wrong plus I had issues with brand new lights quitting and etc.It should also be noted that these towns and villages are union and people are paid very well if you work for the papermills or gold mines-as most do.So gouging seems to be the norm here for everything,groceries,gas,rent-hydro etc.

It always amazes me how similar aussies and canadians are, i am doing the same and my first grow is white widow, i have researched the fuck out of it so i hope it goes well. Cheers brother!
I can tell you this my freind,once you have got it dried to about 60-65% humidity-jar it and cure it-un frigging real how smooth it is after a month-it is at-59%h and stored at 19.4C-love Aussies-they taste like chicken.

i have been reading about curing, takes a bit of time, but i think it is why the pot i smoke is shit, as well as the fact they dont let the thichs develope, i will add the 6 weeks extrs and charge a little more

I just recently got to see how much my lights cost to run...Without the lights we use $5-$6 a day...with the lights it is $10-$11 a day...so $5 a day to run the lights...and they have to run for 3 months to get a harvest...so $5 x 90days = $450...Each run I get around 9 oz...so...it is alright I guess. I was floored to see the usage of the lights. I was thinking it added a few dollars a month...but nope doubled our daily usage...Oh well.

$75 1/8th is only fair in the right markets for the most elite high quality certain strain phenotype, from the best growers in the world, a rare rare herb on the market. The chances of that being your herb or finding herb that falls into this category is very very low for most. No herb is worth more, and most priced at $75 1/8th is not worth it.

Yeah I have a friend that buys some of mine for $40 a quarter, but he is the only person I sell it to. When some of my friends were having a hard time and facing eviction I would give it to them to sell for however much they could and just give me the $40, and they found more than a few people willing to pay $80 for the same quarter I sell for $40...they even found a surprising number of people that would pay $100 for a quarter...I wouldn't pay that much for a quarter ever....
The whole reason I started growing myself is because I couldn't find cheap weed anymore...I was used to paying $5 a gram or so...between 25-40 a quarter...Then suddenly all I could find was $70-$80 a quarter...so I decided eff it, if you want something done right do it yourself...but you can't buy ditch weed seeds online...so the 3rd time I had good named pot it was my own. Lol. Too cheap to pay for good weed...that's me. I would pay the prices I charge...But I am not really doing it to make money. I am trying to be able to keep myself in smoke, and just won't supply you unless you give me a little cash. If my friend I sell to needed some and didn't have the money I would give it to him just the same...and have in fact, but he always pays me back...When I don't have enough to supply us both then we just smoke together whatever I have left.

If I'm risking it to grow, the few close friends I do sell it to are getting charged for it but at a better price than for what kind herb around my area goes for usually. $20/g or $60-65/eighth is fair for high quality. But I know people that sell shitty shake "kush" far inferior to what I grow in same town as me for $25/g all day and stupid people go for it.

that doesn't sound right. my bill is $350/mth to run 3 1000's, 2 400's, all the other fans and bs, plus normal usage. I get 5-7 lbs 3 times a year. That sounds like a lot of power to use for so little bud?

I agree that is outrageous. I use 1500-1600 with lights and fans for 12 hours a day for flowering tent, then 200watts 24/7 for vegg. And my bill only jumped 35-45 a month. Harvest probably about a qtr pound every month and the little bit i let sell to friends easily pays the lights and nutrients and then some.

Yes sir i know all about that i just got attacked by those fuggers. I ended up having to go buy some more neem oil as well as getting some goGnats. And bleaching my little tent. Once you even see a few of them flying around you better freak out, because 24-48 hours later there will be about 10x that many. Thankfully they hit my vegg tent and not my flowers.

Well I only have 2 400w lights. But For real I get my power use texted to me every morning...,Lol.
We have our power prepaid. So we can use the amount we pay upfront. And we were using 5-6 dollars a day...we hooked up the lights and now we use 10-11 dollars a day. I have 2 box fans, 1 400w running for 16 hours, one 400w running for 12 hours...one inline fan for the carbon filter and that is it...
So
2 400w lights
2 box fans
1 inline fan
upping the power by 5-6 dollars a day.

I can fit 3 plants in my flowering tent...and I get around 3 oz per plant...nothing over 2 feet tall...anyway 3 oz per plant 3 plants in a tent...9 oz per harvest. I didn't realize the lights used that much power at our old place...the power bill was always high, but I don't recall a huge jump when getting the lights and what not...but I guess I just didn't notice. But now that we have the prepaid power I have to watch carefully what we are using everyday..and I didn't have my plants until we had been moved for a little over a month...So I got to see the usage before and after the lights...more so then when we got a bill and just paid it.
