Plushberry

Anyone grown this or smoked it? Is it potent? Leafy? how's the yield?

Looking for some unbiased advice here. I don't want to post this in subcools forum because all of the sub-ball lickers tend to give glowing reviews of his gear, even if it's average meds. Jillybean would be a good example of that. Nice smell, good yield, but leafy as fuck, and average (at best) potency.

had a few in barn, didn't dial-in plants, but the ones I had seemed more like a 'pole plant'. no smoke report other than frost. fair guess to say that it is not normally a LG yielding strain. I did cross my purple plush male w my jack the ripper cut, it's the reverse (male to female) of the ace of spades. haven't germed any yet, buddy has one going. have 3 do zen seeds.

Plushberry is one of Sub's recent mostly Indica strains. Of these Indicas I personally prefer the Ace of Spades, as it is more consistent with the flavor/smell of other top TGA strains.

Plush is a really nice strain! Phenotype selection is very nice with small variations towards her lineage. I kept 3 phenos one was sativa with the most acrid taste almost hazy and frosty as he'll. The other two were bcs Dom one turned purple as he'll the other one was a bigger flower pheno and literally grows footballs on her no color change and I found it to be the most medical out of the 3. Oh yea I named the big bud pheno plush flop just for my own identification but it fits her to a T. I gave a couple of buddies at work this pheno and are still amazed by the size of the flowers.

Thanks for the tip on AOS.

I have a 10 pack of AOS and Plushberry. Not sure which one I am going to try next. I still have to finish up SpaceDawg. Have two different phenos of SD. One short, the other tall. Not done yet though.

As for plushberry, I have not smoked it, I have read a lot of threads on it, both good and bad. I could not help it though, just had to buy a pack of seeds and try it. I saw some very lovely pictures of one phenotype with a gigantic pink bud. Probably the prettiest bud I have ever seen in my life.

That's what prompted me to buy the seeds as well. I have never seen such a cool looking bud!

I have heard mixed reviews as well. Everything from nanners, to it being too leafy. Just trying to determine if the juice is worth the squeeze.

Plush.jpgI grew Plush and although it didnt make my list for keeps it was unique to say the least and I do have some crosses that were made with Plush yet...

Roll the dice and see what you get , there is no uniformity in this F1 .

Nice looking plant there PPS. There was two pictures that prompted me to purchase the plushberry seeds. One picture was by MosCutty, it looked very similar to the one in your picture. The other picture was a fresh cut bud that was a different pheno and the looks were unbelievable. It was the prettiest bud I had ever seen. I cannot remember who the grower was, but the picture was posted at 3MG.

Any nanners, Professor?
I hear a lot about nanner issues with TGA gear. My guess is that it is usually the grower. I only say this because I have not had a single nanner on a TGA strain that I have grown. My spacequeen dominant querkle will get small flowers at the very bottom branches, but only when I take pictures with the camera flash on, even when the grow lights are on. It has never been a problem.

My 4-G strain, at the end of flowering, sometimes gets nanners on the top buds. I believe that is from the camera flash also. As far as I can tell, I have not had a problem with a crop getting pollinated from them. Been growing them for years.

The issues I speak of only occur during the last two weeks of flowering. On a perpetual grow, the other half of the closet, which is already at least a month into flower, has never became pollinated from the mature or nearly ready to harvest other half of the closet.

I suppose if I were to see any nanners or other deformities within the first 6 weeks into flower, I would probably chop it down. It has been a long time since I have ever had to cut a plant down due to deformities.

I hope I have good luck when I get to grow my plushberry seeds. Learning that it is an F1, I will be ready to do extra searching to find the right phenotype. I am hoping to find one that is super pink and has the good looks. That is what I got it for.

Only if taken late term , she and others I had threw a few if allowed to flower beyond 65 Days .. Never seen any Herm traits out of the many tests with Plush and its pollen either .. Yes I will state that the Ruderalis gene is somewhere hidden in that Black Cherry Soda and its rumored Sub lost her due to the cuts flowering .. Not sure and could care less, but I do know that many crosses with Plush tend to ripen very early , had one at day 36 that was unbelievable ..

Thanks GG , good to see you once again .. You have a keen eye my friend as this cut shown was received from Moss a few years back .. It made me run some more and then I got handed some of Kak's Hybrids made with his Male from the test with Sub back in the day ... I think you'll find something special within it , get ready for Crayola Colors heheh ... I have been thinking about running Kak's Purple Eve ( Black Jack x Plush ) .. His test runs at GP were so purple and potent ... I ll be meeting with him on monday and perhaps Ill ask for some of those too heheh .. PotSnob

I've never had any problems with my three PB runs. I took the first run at 56 days. The next at 63. This batch will be 56 again. That worked better for what I was after. This is a pleasant, light medication.

PPS - thanks, nice to see you around also!

I couldn't tell from the pictures of yours or Mos's, but I wonder what is the density of the buds? Are they fluffy or nuggety?

Hey, you wouldn't happen to know something about SpaceDawg would you? I have two phenos in flower right now. One is very stretchy, only when it went into 12/12. The other pheno stayed short. I couldn't tell them apart until I switched to 12/12. Do you have an idea which pheno might lean towards SnowDawg? I have been searching for information on SnowDawg, but have found very little on it. No matter, I can't wait to sample each of them.

Thanks for push I needed to start trying new strains again! :)

Next I will have to decide whether to start Plushberry or Ace of Spades..... so many choices.... so little space.... and so little time :P

Sorry for the delay , I am back and I have some of the Purple Eve beans .. Grabbed some Wrecked Plush as well , oh I meant Wrecked Berry as Kak named it ..

The plush was heavy and dense all the way , I would say it was decent harvest when all said and done .. As usual the Space Dude did his job along with Black Cherry as the sugars shine within all phenos I have seen , grown and smoked ..

I wish I could help you with the Space Dawg , that I have not grown but I did grow ChemDawg and it was a stretcher but then again so was the Space Queen I had lol .. I have some Retarded Dog that I should get out and play with lol ..

Now I am in the same Dilema , what to grow next ..I ll be looking to hear about what you find .. PPS
