And that is not a fossil. it's a skeleton. Probably not even a couple of years old considering its condition. I'd be careful of harmful microbes and other little pesky critters that like to hang around rotting corpses.

I run across dead animals by the river all the time. Usually killed by feral dogs. As a kid, me and my brothers would grab the longest bones and have sword fights with them. LOL

I used to have a very large skull collection, I would just find bones of dead animals out here all the time. Somebody stole my black bird skull, that thing was soo cool looking.

That's a big taboo around here. Bones in your home will cause people to avoid your house at all costs. :o

LOL tell me about it, my stepfathers mother wouldn't stay in my room even after I moved out of the house because I used to have skulls hanging on the wall. The first time she saw my room she said some kind of prayer in spanish (can't remember) and made the sign of the cross.
