I'm little bit late posting this as it's been going on awhile now "about a week" it ends the 22'nd. There are some insane deals, often 75% off or more, although a lot have already gone on sale but some do come up multiple times.

Sorry to derail.. But can a regular laptop be turned into a gaming laptop? I have a toshiba 64 bit windows 7.. Not sure what else info needs to be given in order to make a decision, but do you think it's good enough? Or is it to weak to play games like skyrim?

main thing about a newer laptop is the video memory they have enough processing power... if your laptop doesn't cut it its most likely because of the video memory.. some laptops have expansion bays to add a video card but that u will need to check if your laptop supports one..

If it's running 64 bit, it likely has a half way decent video card. You may have issues with some of the higher end games, but I would think you could handle most. Here is a link that will let you test your system to see if you can run a specific game, you'll need java.
