Crazy huh...?
Crazy huh...?
I can relate. I was diagnosed with Pancolitis at age 10....Now i'm 22 (using cannabis for 4 years) and my symptoms haven't been present for 4 years. I think there is a connection between our cannabinoid system and general health. 4 years without a flare up for me is like magic. I was on so many pharmaceutical drugs from age 10-18...and I NEVER achieved remission. Smoked pot regularly from age 18-19 recreationally and discovered that it basically cured my symptoms. 4 years later and i'm still in remission.Craziest thing about it to me is the fact that i had seizures when i was a child, was diagnosed with epilepsy. I started smoking pot when I was 14. At 15 years of age I was told that I do not have epilepsy? After watching this vid, I think that it is due to the pot, NICE!!!
but your doctor has a point. its certainly much less addictive than so many other drugs, but an addictive substance nontheless. it would most likely be less addictive if we didnt have those receptors. and it is information we need to be aware of, as to prevent any chance of becoming addicted. there are pot addicts, and more than you think. but its a very manageable addiction, like coffee or chocolate. comparing it to addiction of cocaine and the likes would be just nonsense. The instructor claimed that the cannaboid reciptors in our brains was the reason it is so addictive...I instantly knew he was a dumb a**!! .
True that. Caffeine, nicotine and many others are VERY addictive. Still trying to kick the caffeine monkey off my back. Thanks for the link. And I understand it can be addictive. There's hundreds of products that contain addictive compounds. Look at the deffinition of drugs and all it is, is a mind altering substance. Watch out the next time you drink a soda or pop an advil. These are drugs and contain addictive substances.
http://www.news-medical.net/health/Cannabinoids-What-are-Cannabinoids.aspxwell, the reason for the link is the fact that the first vid had some incorrect info, specifically the fact that he was sayin those receptors we have are specifically for cannibinoids. correct me if im wrong but, if we have a certain receptor in our brain, isnt it because another part of our brain produces that chemical?
