First time indoor grow

hey everyone i am doing my first indoor grow and well its been 2 months and i would like some advice. 1st i am doing 24hr lighting is that bad?(the plant looks heathy just kinda short and wide) 2nd can i do 12/12 i am trying to keep it short and i was wondering can i have it flower early to keep it short but produce nice nugs. 3rd should i bend?
also any other advice will help.

you can 24 veg,,, some will swear by it.
but im not one of them...18/6 is for me.
flower her when you feel ready...they tend to stretch 2 to 3 time in length.
i like my plant to be short..so, topped @ the 4th to 5th node. i flower her when she is about 12 inches. that's just me.
should you bend. up to you... you want a short plant Right? then do it. expose more bus sites and keeps her short.

I'm with Ringsixty on the light schedule. I figure even plants need some sleep time to process all their food. I just completed my first grow ever. I used 18/6. I've read where it's recommended that you wait for the plants to show their sex prior to flowering. Then again there are people who run 12/12 from seed because they need small. As for producing 'nice' nugs well you'll make mistakes but if you keep your first grow simple you'll probably get some nice stuff. Save the experimenting for the second etc....grows. OH and don't forget to take some clones so you can immediately being to test what you learn on them.

Cannabis is a pretty cooperative plant. I guess it's called weed for a reason

ya i have the sex down in the plant its a girl!!!! yay so i guess i am going to cut down the light slowly so she wont go into shock. and the cloning thing is going to be my next question on how to do that, so u all are prob going to be hearing from me again .
