Help with carbon filter!! Will give rep

alright guys ive been searching the internet and cant find a simple solid answer for my question..

im building a new grow cabinet and i plan on buying or making a carbon filter so my house doesent stink..

EXACTLY HOW DO I ATTACH THE CARBON FILTER TO THE GROW BOX???

noob question, i know. but ive never used one before..and im a bit confused as to where exactly to connect it.. would like to have the filter on the inside of my box but im not too picky at this point...

do i attach the filter to the back of my exhaust fan? or to the front of my exhaust fan??.. any input is greatly appreciated.. will give rep.. THANKS!

My carbon filter is inside my tent with the fan pulling through it, good pics in the journal in my sig.

Ur exhaust fan is like a vacuum basically, the air is fed through the carbon filter, into the duct pipe, then into the fan and out the other end which will exit your grow space. If you have a vented hood then it goes filter, hood, fan, then straight out. U can just turn on the fan and feel which end pulls and which end pushes if need be...the side that pulls goes to the carbon filter.
