What hr 2306 is it stops the prohibition of Marijuan on the federal level which will all each stae to permit or not permit the consumption of weed. 2. How many States do you actually believe would then legalize cannabis?
I'm all for legalization, but I have heard people saying; "I have found a way to legalize marijuana" since about 1970 ... so pardon me if I don't get so excited over the prospects of it happening now that I get a bone.
I don't really think anyone really believes it'll change. BUT HERE'S FOR HOPING and making our voices heard irregaurdless.

no voices will be heard ur president dudes got a l'il more on his plate going by his speech the other night when he was saying pass me legislation for w/eva and il sign it i didnt hear him mention he was talking about cannabis laws
im not from the usa but to me sounds pretty fucked up how u can be a legal grower be legal to buy it w/evab ut then its stil ILLIGAGAL thats messed up its either illigal or not i really think the us needs to sort its shit out
either a YES OR NO simple as that u cant legalise in a state if you piss of the feds and they raid you or w/eva its fuking crazy
anyway wer i am it illigal no confusions nothing u get cought u get done simple as that and thats how it should be,

Yep, hoping really pays dividends.
Obama is a perfect example of how far hope gets you.
You might as well just go toss a penny into a mall fountain and make a wish. The odds of your wish coming true would be about equal to that of hoping that both houses of congress pass the legislation and then the president signs it into law .... and then the States say, ah, what the heck, let's just make it legal.

Petitions in the real, paper form, with actual signatures, accomplish nothing other than a list of names, no matter the cause. I highly doubt that the fact that it's signed via an e-mail, forum, web site bombing tactic will hold anymore value, no matter what the topic. The US government doesn't care if it was signed by every voting American.

forgive my cynicism/paranoia, but wouldn't an online petition for people to sign who are in support of marijuana, and/or legalizing it, be the perfect tool for any type of law enforcement to use to find out just who exactly has a vested interest in weed; i.e. who might just be growing/selling it?
