there eyes and thats it. ppl say they use FLIR to pick up the certain heat signiture that weed give off but its bull. those are used to catch indoor grows. they look for trails near creeks, trees that were cleared, organized plot(being in rows) the bright green of ur colas while everything else is dying and brown, a combination of these is what copters use and imsure other techniques. they probably use FLIR outdoor but it would be to scan for any1 on the ground, and avoid a possible ambush. before they land. if any1 has ever veiwed a thermal cam looking over a patch of woods, you wont argue when i say there is nothing distinguishable from the surrounding woods, all plants and trees give off the same relative heat sig. even if mj did give off a different heat pattern it would have to be quite a bit hotter or cooler to be able to distinguish

Here in Cali it's mostly dry in the hills during grow season. The police use FLIR to look for damp spots on dry hillside & valleys. They aren't looking for the weed,it's the water. Wet ground around plants stands out like a neon sign, to FLIR.
They can't see the plants but they can sure see wet dirt!
Here's a little demo of how the vinyards use it to monitor their water systems

here is a interesting idea to try if someone is worried about water spots being showed
take a big fishing net or 2 and put it on the ground about an inch or so, (before plating or when they are still seedlings)
and put leaves or whatever is natural to the area and make it look like the ground with it being that low you should still be able to walk on it and it still look like the woods ground with the leaves and twigs

a way to kill a tree
(best done in the winter or fall )
take a drill and drill holes all the way around it
and dump diesel fuel into the holes
the tree will suck it all up and when spring/summer comes itll be dead
(you can also dump food color into it and have whatever color you put leaves the coming spring)

When you kill a tree, I have nowhere to perch upon to ponder lifes' mysteries...

Seriously though, don't go around killing trees to put a pot plant there, that'll get noticed. There are very many wonderful spots to plant in on or around that would love to be the home of a beautiful batch of herb.

Once I get up and running this next week, I'll be back to show what I'm doing this year, bringing lst mainstream.

No, man. I'm not angry, not saying you were. Just some folk hear something and run with it like it's gold. It'd be a shame for someone to get busted because of a missing tree in the grove I think.

Anyhoo, can't wait for warmer days consistently. I really want to get a start on things in the great outdoors!

Have a good evening all! Peace

They're there to scope out your spot so when your ladies get nice an juicy they can come and eat them!
Get some fox piss, or you go piss around! Deter them before there's anything to destroy!

It will be my first gorilla grow but I'm joining the outdoors this year. Planing on 3 spots. 5 master kush each spot. Been indoors hydro And now DWC. So desided to jump to the big outdoors. Maybe next year I will do different strains but going to test with what I have and know.
