i completely disagree with this thinking.. buying clones to me seems like one of the more sketchy ways of getting quality genetics...
for one, who's to say that the obama og clone that you just paid good money for is anything buy idk, say northern lights that someone just slapped a new name on?? i hear lots of stories of people paying for one strain, only to learn months later that they didn't get what they paid for.. it's a very common thing really..
and second, i also hear lots of horror stories of bringing home a new clone, and with it you get some lovely bonuses in the form of say powdery mildew, or spider mites, and you end up infecting your healthy garden with this crap..
when you buy seeds, you get to pick out the best of the lot, are guaranteed that you're getting what you paid for, and don't have to worry about bugs or other problems like that..
