I don't care how smart you think you are and how much experience you have (I swear you always talk yourself up). You are no soil biologist sir, so don't act like when it comes to plants your the end all as you do.
No matter how hard I might try there is no way under the sun that I could care less about what you, or anyone else here, thinks of me. You opinion does not change the fact that in a few months I will have entered my fourth decade of growing. Your opinion does not alter the fact that I have read a multitude of books on horticulture. Your opinion does not change the fact that for nearly twelve years now I have been a part owner in a nursery. Your opinion does not remove the degrees my family members, who have taught me much answering many questions of mine over the years and who will still answer any question I might come up with.

I am sorry if it bothers you that I have more decades of growing experience than many members here have in years of growing experience. I am sorry if I have read, and learned greatly from, more horticulture books than number of times many people here have gotten laid. I apologize if my having been an owner in a business where the sort of things people here talk about are extremely important to know all about, and that are normal conversations whenever the family gets together or talks on the phone. I am sorry that I have four family members who earned degrees making them highly knowledgeable when it comes to growing plants and that for years I have had, and continue to have, ready access to them and their knowledge. And I am exceedingly sorry that because of those things, and more not mentioned in this message, I happen to know more than the average grower.

If those things offend you or upset you, I am very sorry. But at least, unlike you, I am not a perfect example of how possessing a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. You took a broad and general statement and wrongly assumed that it was applicable to each and every single situation, when in fact it is not. Then you spread your misinformation, and since you have attempted to argue your point, without relying on anything factual beyond the original broad and general statement, which was clearly shown to not be a proven fact as you state it. Now you are attempting the weak ploy of trying to make it appear that I know less than I do so people might then see you as knowing more than you know and therefore possibly believe that your position is correct.

There is no sense in arguing this further. You have taken such a firm unyielding close-minded position that regardless of you being wrong you will never accept it or admit it. At this point all that will matter to you is to try to save face. The only way you could try to do that would be to turn this into an argument and try to claim the high moral ground, and of course to continue to attempt to denigrate me, continuing to attack me on a personal level, and to attempt to create the false reality that I know less than I know and hope that others fall for your ploy.

The one sure result of that would be to muck up this thread, and there is no valid justifiable reason to do that just so you can attempt to save face.

You are no soil biologist sir
And neither are you, so why would someone, anyone, believe what you say over what someone with my level of experience is when it comes to growing things in soil and the amount of knowledge I have garnered over the decades, especially when what you are arguing against did not come directly from me, but instead came from a soil microbiologist from Texas A&M? (In case you are unsure, the A&M in Texas A&M stands for Agricultural and Mechanical. I just have to believe that he knows the microbiology of soil better than either one of us do, and in his case he was explicit in what he said, unlike your source.)

Have a nice day ............... message ends.

Can you prove all these wild claims you make?

And I am a 8th degree blackbelt and once beat up Chuck Norris in a spar one on one. I also was the first to discover five species. I have a small country located in a remote region (not allowed to say what country) that I supply/farm all the food for. Oh and I've been growing marijuana for 50 years so top that.

It's all talk pal. You are sooo full of shit it stinks.

Closeminded????????? Have you looked in the mirror lately????????

I sir give people credit where credit is due! I don't see you give credit to people ever.....I.E. # of likes.

I wonder if Barney's G13 was originally RF's work. That's the other problem with locating true old school strains, everyone changed the names.
I really do not know if Barney's G-13 is Reeferman's G-13, but I tend to think it is. Reeferman sold bits of his line to several breeders and some retained the strain names and others changed them and once I read that some of his pure strains were bought and kept to use for breeding purposes, but not for public release. That makes it difficult to say for sure, unless someone knows the breeders or trusts an answer they might receive if they email and ask.

It is a real shame though. For many years he had a tremendous line, my favorite line, filled with very high quality strains. If he hadn't been a white supremacist I am sure more people would have liked him and he would have had fewer problems, including fewer legal problems, in life and might still have a thriving business.

i dont think anyone has a problem with your knowledge, im sure your information is more than welcome here on RIU, the problem people seem to have is instead of kindly sharing that information with fellow members, you risicule people as if they were inferior and stupid. were all here to help, i personally dont know you and have no judgement of you myself, im just trying to clarify what the OP's problem is.

if you have info and want to help and share thats great, dont be a dick if you know something someone else dosent, just point them in the right direction...thats what were all here for, to share what we know and gain the knowledge others know.

scrutinizing people on thier grammar will get you nowhere, who really fucking cares, like the OP said, the point of the launguage or any language is to communicate, and if they get thier point across then no harm no foul. now if this was college english class they might have issues but its a forum on discussing Marijuanna horticulture and related topics.

And you notice how when I catch him messing up (his contradicting statement) he doesn't bother to respond.

Having the nerve to call me close minded. That is the most blatant example of "the pot calling the kettle black" I have ever seen.

He's the most skilled gardener on this forum and should be crowned the king of cannabis like his good buddy Arjan. They are both liars.
