I am depending on other 'Professional'azatrol safe for plants? can it be used 3weeks b4 harvest? does it need to be rinsed off after treatment abd if so how do you rinse it off
Maine.. do you have experience using hotshot strips outdoors? Thats the environment we are working with.
You have a classic error in your statement:I agree with RawBudski in that Mighty Wash is a good product. There is not that many things you can do when the plants are in flower and you care about the end product being medical grade. The Hot Shot no pest strips are good as well as neem oil and all it's derivatives. I've heard tobacco tea works as well.
Mostly the error around mite control comes from two things;
1) the laziness or oversight of the grower not being diligent in a particular control and it's application. (spraying under the leaf)
2) the reliance on one type of control. (this causes mites that survive to develop resistance to that particular control)
Personally, using three different products (with three different modes of action) in rotation has worked well for me. - for infestations, an application every three days to kill newly hatched eggs and for prevention, once a week.
it wont work well outside.AT this point do not fuck around especislly 5 wks? Just get the HOTSHOT NO PEST STRIP AND CALL YOUR PROBLEM FUCKING MITES GONE HELLO any one!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello mcfly lolol It gets really annoying when I come on her with real problem solvers for everyone and all you hear are people describing these god awful stories of what i consider to be cheap science expierements ( neem oil,pepper spray tobacco tea, piss cold water, vinegars both apple cider and regular,dish detergant,co2 ( which actually could work if you know what your doing) Ladybugs, JUST GET THE STRIP AND SAY GOODBYE feel free to let me know of your sucsess stories as you will probably be as relieved as i was after 6 months of battling these relentless IMMORTAL muthafuckas PEACE THE SIZZ
I don't know how big your garden is but what are the chances of using some sort of clear plastic tarp to cover them for a few weeks, greenhouse style, and trying the hotshot no pest under the tarp? It still might not be as effective as hotshots are indoors but might save a bit of time and money and be as effective as the high priced sprays?Still have mites. But they are tolerable. Found a web in one of my thick a$$ kush plants.. and generally a bunch of leaves effected by them after coming home from a 4 day hiyadious labor day weekend. Sprayed 1 to 3 70% rubbing alcohol monday nite. Tuesday nite found multiple living mites... but the wifes lil grow thrives on! I will keep on attacking the mites.. on a budget. Azamax was like a fortune for a pint of the stuff when I checked the grow store. Next stop, nicotine tea which I have seen multiple recommendations for. I boiled about 100 all natural american spirit butts tonight in a gallon of water, including the filters. Screened it through a old t-shirt to avoid plugging my high dollar $7 Home Depot hand sprayer. It came out pretty dark. Probably due to the tar that is also included, of course.. Anyway. Tomorrow I will spray parts of my plant with probably a 1-4 ratio of my 'Nicotine Tea' w tap water. Afraid to somehow phuck up my plants with something too strong.. so I wont spray all of anything. I will post back in a few days to let ya know how a po' man battles mites... now for some eye candy of one of the wifes big 'uns...

Homemade greenhouse in the works. Definately before the rains come. Good idea to try hot shot once its enclosed.I don't know how big your garden is but what are the chances of using some sort of clear plastic tarp to cover them for a few weeks, greenhouse style, and trying the hotshot no pest under the tarp? Not doing might wash due to cost and fact that I will have to repeat.. so looking at alternatives, lower cost. did the rubbing alchol. 1:3 ration with water. soaked em.. living mites the very next evening. Put my first application of tobacco tea this evening as indicated in previous post. Mixed that 1:4 since it looked so strong. Will report back. Before the spray this evening.. I could see multiple living mites on various leaves on my redwood kush, and light damage to flower leaves here and there on the sativas.holy crap i think rawbudski said it once lol, but here it is again MIGHTY WASH! and on the non flowering plant grab a bottle of 91% iso alcohol and spray your plant while its in the shade, it will kill every bug above the soil but does not harm the plant. the tobacco juice is the shit also, kills root aphids in a hurry.
