I would be inclined to believe Rasmussen polls over Gallup, with MSNBC being about on level with a poll FOX might do.
Who do you think conducts Fox's polls? Yep. Scott Rasmussen.

Scott Rasmussen was a weekly columnist for conservative news web site World Net Daily.

Yeah, nothing further needs to be said about the bias of Scott Rasmussen

You don't get any nuttier than the WND.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Net_Daily

Every person involved in politics is biased, or they wouldn't be involved in politics. In the 2008 presedential elections, Rasmussen were the most accurate polls. In 2004, they had GWB Winning 50.2 to 48.5. The final election was 50.7% to 48.2%.

As for the 2010 polls:

Please note the ** beside Rasmussen Reports name and the explanation. Without that ** and adding numbers not released by Rasmussen - what is the %?

Why do you think a person might add in numbers like that? It would be adding Lexus and Toyota numbers together on crash figures or vice versa to inflate or deflate a number associated with the brand in an effort to change the numbers. 3 in 1000 people died in over 50mph crashes in a Toyota. 10 in 1000 died in a Lexus. So they put the two together, adjust for disparity in ownership of the vehicles and declare the number 4 in 1000. While those numbers were just made up, you get the point. Alternatively - why would Rasmussen release it under another name? The same reason Wal-Mart sells its generic items under a different name even though it is made by a national brand.

It's even worse if you take out the Fox Polls. The polls that you equate with MSNBC polls are actually MORE accurate than Rasmussen's. How's that strike you?

Polls branded as Rasmussen Reports missed by an average of 5.9 points and had a 3.9 point bias. The polls it commissioned on behalf of Fox News had a 5.1 point error, and a 3.6 point bias.

I have said it before and I'll say it again; Anyone making less than $250,000 per year that votes republican is voting AGAINST their own economic interests.

Pretty simple. And this has never been more obvious than it is now.

The story of American history is that of conservative ideas and prejudices falling away as our society grows more progressive and thus more true to our nation's founding ideals. Conservatives supported slavery, conservatives opposed women's suffrage, conservatives supported Jim Crow, conservatives opposed the 40-hour work week and the abolishment of child labor, and conservatives supported McCarthyism. In short, all the major advancements of freedom and justice in our history were pushed by liberals and opposed by conservatives, no matter the party they inhabited at the time. Conservatism is Bill Bennett lecturing you about self-denial, then rushing off to feed his slot habit at the casino. It's James Dobson telling you that children need regular beatings to stay in line. It's a superannuated nun rapping you on the knuckles so you won't think about your dirty parts. It's Jerry Falwell watching "Teletubbies" frame by frame to see if Tinky Winky is trying to turn him gay. Conservatism is everyone you never wanted to grow up to be.

You are right, I agree, we should all go with Reuters since it has Obama winning by the highest percentage.
Now you are just being ridiculous. The link I shared was a composite of multiple polls including Rassmusen's Right leaning polls.

It is against my economic interests to not rob my neighbor's house while he is out, that doesn't make it right to rob his house. Just because something favors you doesn't mean it is right.

Conservatives and Liberals are the same thing. They just differ on what part of your life they should be controlling.

I'll give you that. Liberals want to control what light bulb people can use.

Conservatives want to control who people can get married to.

I'll admit that I lean Left.

I admitted I was biased at the beginning of the thread. I am a staunch Libertarian. I don't like Romney any more than I like Obama. You might consider admitting that you are Democrat biased.

I have just been trying to provide accurate information. Facts do tend to have a Dem bias. That's not my fault.

Not sure if you are going to be all that excited this election. I am thinking it is going to be a Romney Obama match up. It's a shame that Huntsman guy has the personality of a post. He has a good background and isn't a Right Wing nut job like most of the others. If he were to appeal to the GOP base he would be a real contender I think but sadly he isn't crazy enough to appeal to most of them. It will be interesting to see if Romney ends up throwing a bone to the Tea Baggers and run Bachmann as a VP. That might work but could also blow up in his face.

But first we have to get through a season of these GOP hopefuls beating the shit out of each other. Not sure what relationships could be repaired after that.

none of the options on the poll apply to me, I reluctantly choose 'I prefer a republican' with great anguish

Democrats should stop referring to themselves are 'Liberals', since they are not liberal in any sense except that they apply the name to themselves. The very definition of liberal is freedom. Liberalism is philosophy of the freedom of the individual. Republicans are as liberal as Democrats. Being liberal on things you like, and not on things you don't isn't liberal, it is authoritarianism.

I'm sorry, I did that on purpose since most people don't vote 3rd parties. Why? I think it is based on fear that (insert politician here) will get elected if they 'waste' their vote. So they vote for the least disgusting person to them. It is like choosing between a pile of shit and a dead cat. I will just put Ron Paul as a option on the next Poll lol.

Yeah I know people that would waste their vote on Ralph Nader every time they got the chance.

I have no idea why.

I vote for my Republican Congressman. He is one the more sane ones. I share a lot of values with True Republicans. There just aren't many left in the GOP these days. Hell, today's GOP would throw Ronald Reagan out of their party.
