So hahaha well im thinking about a volcano, I already own a SSV, and a sick glass bong, but haha im tempted to get a Volcano. So few questions...........

1) How does the hit taste? Like is the vapor really stale vs say a whip vaporizer?
2) Is it as warm as a nice whip vape hit?
3) How long does it take to fill a bag?
4) Does that bag last (quite a few inhales?)
5) Can I pack small bags and carry/place around my house so I can medicate throughout the day?
6) How much weed you need for a full bag
7) Is it loud
8) lol final question-should I get one? lol
9) oh oh thought of one final question easy or digital?

FAR FAR FAR from stale. I think it's the best tasting vape out there.

2) Is it as warm as a nice whip vape hit?
yes, sometimes can be hot if you smoke multiple bags

3) How long does it take to fill a bag?
2-3 minutes?

4) Does that bag last (quite a few inhales?)

I'm not sure how long the vapor will stay good for to be honest.

6) How much weed you need for a full bag
not much at all.

ive seen a side by side and the easy heats up quicker than the digi, cost a bunch less too. Hits are nice from the volcano, tasty, not too hot, not stale at all (but i think all vape seems to taste the same, kettle corn popcorn, maybe a hint of pine). bag lasts a lot of hits and it deff takes less then 2mins to fill. umm its a bit loud but only when blowing, maybe electric toothbrush level. you can prb get like 2-3 bags from like say a .3ish...ide say if u got the cash cop the easy, digi is nice but not worth it imo. ive herd the vape can last 4 hrs but ive never tested that....i hear the zephyr is a nice comparable unit, havent toked that tho.

we used to get the popcorn taste, so we turned it down a few degrees and now it just tastes like super sweet dankness

This is without a doubt the purest taste of bud. I made my Volcano into a whip using just 2' of aquarium tubing - fits right on the Volcano head. Link to photo of Whip Volcano Using well cured bud will improve taste a lot.

Not as warm, but it distributes the taste and makes a whole balloon of same potency so great for sharing. I have balloons, that i use when friends are here - normally i go whipstyle.

3) How long does it take to fill a bag?
Only maybe 30 seconds. Not a minute

4) Does that bag last (quite a few inhales?)
It lasts some, but need changing every now and then. I'd say a month of heavy using. Bag will start to let out vape where bag and velve are assembled.

5) Can I pack small bags and carry/place around my house so I can medicate throughout the day?
Oh yes. You can even leave a full bag the night over and have nice potent vape next day. Easy to bring bags (but they won't fit into a pocket ;O) )

6) How much weed you need for a full bag
I use a good half gram in a head - sometimes a gram if i'm loaded. You can make 3-4 great bags. First two are the best tasting.

7) Is it loud.
Not that loud, but you definitely hear it.

One extra tip !
You can add dried peppermint, lavender and other stuff to your vapor hit. I love a little peppermint - makes it hot/cold and refreshing.

The volcano is nice, but not worth the money. Check out the Extreme Q, for a new version of volcano that also has a whip option, and it's only $300.

Ahahaha I love this shit. I am using my Volcano as we speak(or type?)...owned it almost 4 and a half years (Since I was a junior in HS).
It tastes great, different weed tastes different. I have never used any other kind of vaporizer though.
Again, just used a volcano so idk, but it is nice and warm, certainly not hot at all. Soothingly warm.
Takes no mroe than about a minute to fill a bag of proper size.
With like 3 or 4 heads the bag gets hit twice by everyone usually, when it is the size of the manufacturer's recommendation (which is what I do usually)
If you had small bags around your house to get stoned a tiny bit in different places of your home, then you've got serious problems! All you need to do is sit down and fill up the bag and inhale that stuff.
You dont really need any more weed to pack it up than you do for a normal sized bowl. A gram packs it up 3 times pretty well. One vape pack usually gets first time users blitzed, especially if it is good weed.
Of course you should get one, everyone who tells you otherwise is a complete fucking idiot. It has honestly been like one of the top 3 investments I have ever made in my life. It has easily paid for itself 3 times over by now.
It isn't really quiet!! I used mine while living in an on-campus dorm for 2 years. We had like, our own little bedroom and then a mutual kitchen/living room, 4 people to a unit. I know my roommates had to know something was going on cause they ahd to be able to hear the 'Whiiiiirrr" and the crinkle crinkle crinkle of the bag fillin up almost everyday but I never got into any kind of trouble!
AND....get the CLASSIC!!! If I am nto mistaken the digital is like 130 bucks more? That makes zero sense, especially if all you're gonna do is vaporize weed!!!! You keep the fucking thing on the same settings, why the hell would you pay extra money to have pretty numbers to look at? That is retarded, it works just as well if not better with the knob.
I also have the Classic bag set-up (the solid valve) as opposed to the new one. I have used the new one when I was in Amsterdam for new year's a couple of years ago, it didn't seem all that super-duper to me (although it is the same price). I have had people tell me though that if you are owning a volcano, the solid-valve system is much better. The bags last longer and it's simpler to use, supposedly. I know I couldn't be any happier with my purchase and recommend it to every pot smoker I discuss it with!!!

Not to mention they are absolutely bulletproof. Mine has been thrown on the ground and kicked, and dropped several times onto hardwood floors from 3 feet or so, and it is still kicking just as strong as when I got it :D

I'm glad I spent 600... my volcano has treated me better than anything I own... keeps me happy, and un-frustrated..


OP if you love weed BUY that volcano now because it's fucking awesome and the sooner you start using it the better ;)

I agree that this is really simply just a heat gun with a termostate, but the Volcano is just nice quality and to me well worth the money. Have a Vapir one somewhere in a drawer, but only used that like a couple of times - it just were too "flimsy".
I know and agree that the Volcano is well overprized - but still though WELL worth the money. (+ How many $ are your lungs worth?)
